I'm the same except for one big thing. The wii u and 3ds have got me loving nintendo right now. I play both very frequently and they have some of the best exclusive games, not to mention virtual console on the 3ds is a no brainer. Super Metroid wherever I go.....yes yes yes! Just take all my money.Exhuminator wrote:NES & SNES days = I was in love with Nintendo. N64 & GameCube days, I lost a lot of fervor for their stuff. The Wii & DS made me fall in love with Nintendo once again. Then the Wii U and 3DS era has knocked my Nintendo love back down to barely a mild interest. So many wasted opportunities on both platforms it makes me sick. The NX is gonna make or break my relation with the company. (I guess there's always mobile though.)

Re: NX Predictions Thread
I mean it's cute to play a SNES game on your 3DS, sure. But I can play Super Metroid on my phone. For free. Meanwhile my 3DS dreams of having an actual new 2D Metroid.

I don't do gaming on my phone at all. I'm just not a fan of it.
@Xeogred I haven't had any problems with it. The dpad is not as optimal as a snes controller for sure, but it's very functional. I did laugh when they put all the snes Street Fighters on the virtual console. Who's playing street fighter on a 3ds by themselves?

Re: NX Predictions Thread
I have beaten Metal Man on a touch screen. It was not a fun experience. Not my preferred method at all. RPGs? Yeah, I reckon it'd work. That being said, I'm always paranoid about toasting all my battery juice, so I don't really play games on my phone during the day.

It's not gonna be weird living in a world where Nintendo is making games for my phone that I can play with a bluetooth controller.

I don't tote around Bluetooth controllers for my phone... and most of 'em suck. Anyone got any suggestions for a good one?
