Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Spy Hunter was one of my favorite arcade games as a kid (as such it's still one of my favorites now), I still remember being super excited when I first saw it on the NES. I had to have that game.
I'm not a big fan of the port itself honestly, but it still holds a lot of nostalgic value for me.

Well, while we're at it...SNESdrunk wrote:Tuesday, September 27, 2016 - SNES basketball games
Everything goes back to NBA Jam.
Jammit not only plays like Pit-Fighter, it sounds like it too.
I don't even know what to say about those weird basketball/dating sim Japan-only games. It reminds me of the Yu Yu Hakusho fighters.
But come on, Charles Barkley played basketball against Godzilla and won.

Also you missed the greatest basketball game of all time...
Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Actually, those cinematic basketball games are probably linked at the hip to Captain Tsubasa. I think we got one of those games as Tecmo World Cup Soccer.
Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Thanks for watching folks. Ack, I actually completely forgot about Chaos in the Windy City, but that game probably should get its own video. Especially since I wasted so much time with Mega Man Soccer.
But yeah, it's our busy season at work (I work in admissions at a university) and it's also allergy season so I'm constantly fighting off sinus infections and all those delightful symptoms. Just zero energy to do much internettin'.

Well, it's really just a platformer with basketballs, so... no biggie?
I've heard it's a surprisingly passable game from some people, although I've never attempted to verify such claims.

It's delightfully goofy, I like it. I love the notion that Jordan MUST keep his dribble throughout the game. Hey, someone could call him for traveling.Sarge wrote:Well, it's really just a platformer with basketballs, so... no biggie?
