By god did I go on a crazy shopping spree in Yuma, Arizona! Hit up lots of places and I still missed out on a few others. There’s a Hastings that’s closing here and I spent a good while going through whats left of their stock. They still have a bit left. And for $130 dollars, I took some graphic Novels and single issue. Also took some Special edition and regular 3DS games, DIsgaea 5 on PS4 and Angelic Layer DVD complete series. My first big chunk of my gaming budget gone! Afterwards, I hit up some pawn shops, In one place they had their games for $6.00 each, So there I got some ps4 games: Legends Of Wrestlemania, Infamous, Borderlands 2 GOTY, Hitman Absolution and Saints Row 2. The second Pawn shop had games for $3.00 each: Kane and Lynch Dead Men, Venetica, Universe at War, and Enemy Territory quake wars. After that I went to a shopping center that had a walmart and a gamestop in it. I went into the walmart first in the hopes of finding some cheap vita games. But after some snooping and seeing that infamous ten cent ps2 game, I left there with Walking Dead and Little Big Planet Karting. $10 for both. Then it was off to gamestop where I picked up a nice set of wii and 360 games; Coraline, Trauma Center new blood and the normal edition of Cursed Mountain. And I found some ‘out there’ 360 games! Divinity 2 and Culdcept Saga! Very nice. finally the last pace I went to was Target. They also had a ton of clearance games! It was so hard to choose! But in the end I took some goodies! WWE 2K15 for $4.88, Crimes and Punishements for $8.98, Toy soldiers War Chest for $5.98, Borderlands the Presequel $4.48, The evil within for $7.48 and a bluray steel book of PSYCHO for $7.00. Also not pictured (because they’re with a friend) Xenoblade wii U for $17.98 and Mighty No 9 for $8.98. So after all this plentiful bounty, I got a bit scared. I live in Mexico and while sometimes customs officers are cool, me bringing in all this stuff at once may require paying some fees. So I met my friend and handed him half the loot! I would pick up the rest the next day. I let him borrow the wii U games. I’ll let him have Mighty No 9. But I’m keeping Xeno. So I went home to Mexicali And While I went to pick up my games today, my friend handed me my order of Mei Q vita that I told him to order for me. Quite a nice score eh?

I have been hitting Gamestop again for the Wii games. Been finding many CIB for under two bucks! At this price, have been buying backup complete copies and now have plenty of spare games along with Wii console and NetFlix for any vacation trips. The second copy not as big a risk if gets stolen while on vacation.

CRTGAMER wrote:Confirmed again my earlier statement. Look at the Gamestop site which lists even the cheap 99 cent games more expensive if reserved thru their site. If a game is listed at $4.96 online Gamestop, chances are it will be a lower price at the local store! Fortunately, Gamestop at most locations (unlike PS2 games in the past) do not throw away cases and instructions on the lower priced games. If ordered online though, a chance it will be mailed in disc only to save on shipping! :?

Nights Journey Dreams - $1.99
The Saturn versions are highly collectable, but the Wii version tends to be forgotten. I posted a review with a much better control method in my Wii Gamecube Thread.

Chicken Blaster / Chicken Shoot - $0.99 each
When I picked up a spare Wii console at the Swap Meet, it came with a Chicken Shoot game disc inside. A mediocre game that played like the PC Chicken Shooter game Moorhuhn. In my quest for all disc games CIB, I went ahead and picked up a CIB of both chicken games. In Chicken Shoot, the chickens are flying traditional shooting gallery style for a bit of skill aiming at targets. Chicken Blaster on the other hand is really bad with just chickens flying direct at the screen and continual endless boring shooting.

Blazing Angels - $0.99
Took four Gamestops to find a CIB and not horribly scratched copy. Also took a couple weeks tying each different location store as a pit stop during my regular commutes. Ah well, sign of a extended played game when so many discs show scratches I guess. An okay World War II Arcade Flight Sim.

Epic Mickey - $1.99
Very good game worth getting a backup for only two bucks. This is actually my third copy!

deBlob - $0.99
There is a PC freeware version for this game as well as deBlob 1 and 2 for the Wii. Neat game with a Katamari twist of exploring every bit of the level.

Pinball Williams - $0.99
Though the 360 and PS3 has more tables, this Wii disc has 10 Pinball tables for 99 cents! Owning so many console versions of this game, no idea how I missed Pinbot. Been curious about the table after seeing so many NES carts with the same title. Intuitive control of using the triggers for the flippers ant the analog stick for a control pull back of the plunger.

Dead Rising - $4.99
Out of all the games I have listed in this Thread, this one has a matched price to the Gamestop site. Another confirm due to being higher then the $4.46 indicator mentioned in my quote above! This is no Resident Evil, but still a lot of fun killing Zombies in the Shopping Mall. Not sure if tied to Zombie Shopping Mall movie, but certainly inspired by it.

Balloon Pop $3.99
Plays like the Arcade/PS1 version of Magical Drop. However, instead of capturing, moving and shooting the objects only a swap of pieces is allowed. The best part is the NES sideways control, so much better then using the pointer cursor.

Updated the NES Sideways Control List.

Don't forget to watch out for Opoona if are browsing through the wii stuff at gamestop. I seriously love that game and honestly it's one of the rarest games on the Wii in my opinion. I've only ever bumped into it once out in the wild, but luckily the one time I bumped into was a CIB copy at gamestop for $6 :D .

Got it already years ago. True, a neat game worth getting a backup copy.

Found a original Xbox for $10. Pretty cool because I've been looking for one for quite awhile. There seem to be quite a few Xbox games that won't play on my 360 so this will be cool to have, and the user interface is really cool! I like green!

Just for the ability to play burned games, or put emulators on there. If you're not comfortable with it, though, you can leave it as-is.

I do have to admit that I don't use my original for emulation purposes much anymore, but man, it was a beast back in the day.

Yep. I own all of my Xbox games and I install them on the HD, the load times are great.

Speaking of Xbox deals, found one with two Duke controllers for 30$ at Goodwill the other day. Pretty good deal considering the Dukes aren't exactly dirt cheap. I bought the Dukes and left the Xbox.
