Well, starting the Jets D wasn't a great move this week.

Appreciate the take on Dak. He was basically a rock star here in Starkville, but he's got his head screwed on straight. A lot of the praise I saw was that he seems poised, especially for a rookie. I'm sure some of that is his life circumstances, but it's nice to have a Cowboys player that's a legitimately good dude. ;)

(Seriously, most of my disdain for the 'boys comes from their '90s run with all the malcontents they had. I think Romo has been wonderful for them, and is woefully underrated as far as QBs go.)

I think if romo had the playmakers and defense Aikman had he'd be the best in the franchise. He already has Aikman's records. He's had to do alot with so little while Aikman's teams were stacked. Everybody looks at the mistakes he's made, but has the most 4th quarter comebacks as well, tells me hes had to pull every game out his ass lol.

But yes, they had some characters in the 90's. I'm sure it was the same on every team, they were just more in the spotlight. Defiantly couldn't get away with all that in the social media days.

Well he's screwing me right now, bout to bench him. Just watching the Packers starks hits the hole better has has more speed so I don't see him being a rb1 week to week.

Boy, am I glad I moved him Blount in. He saved my bacon. As did Ryan Mathews last night with his two TDs. I barely won my matchup, only managed to score just shy of 98 this week. Stupid defense and kicker. Oh, and Luck. Shoulda started Carr.

Anyway, 2-0, even if I'm last place in points right now among those 2-0 teams.

Kudos to Dak getting that first win. And setting an NFL record in the process.

Let me ask you this since you keep up with dak. I think he's been a great game manager. Doing what he can without making mistakes. He doesn't press or take chances, the anti romo. If this continues and they have a decent record, would you start romo when he's back? I say no. Dak has done enough to be the future of this team to not lose the job. He's not making sportscenter highlights yet but that will come. The kid gets it and the future is now I say.

I think Dak's going to continue to grow, but if Romo can hit the ground running, he's more experienced and a stronger passer than Dak right now. I think I'd consider putting him back in. But if Dak is anywhere close to his level, if he's tearing it up, I'd continue to roll with what's worked up to that point. It really all depends on what their record is and how much Dak has progressed.

I'm also concerned that they could be stacking the box to stop Zeke, and that's giving Dak many of his openings. If he can start burning them deep (which may happen), then all bets are off.

I've always thought Dak was a good, not great, passer. He's improved every year he was here at MSU, though. He was more run-heavy his junior year, when we hit No. 1 in the polls for four weeks straight (that's a big freaking deal for our program), but you could tell Mullen was getting him ready for the pros last year, with a lot more passing. He's got that arm, although sometimes his accuracy could be shaky. But apparently he's got a heck of a work ethic, and with all that talent, he'll go as far as his mind will let him. If he can assimilate the NFL playbooks and read defenses, he'll be a beast.

Alright guys, I need to survive one more week before Tom Brady returns. I'm currently running Eli Manning. I've had mixed expectations/results with him and it looks like an uphill battle against that Vikings defense in Minnesota on Monday.

The best of the alternatives left in the pool don't look very enticing either. Nothing looks like a total mismatch. Maybe Joe Flacco or Trevor Siemian - considering the less lethal opponents, but aside from one game for Trevor, they've looked pretty abysmal themselves. Here's some highlights:

- an injured Russell Wilson at NYJ (he was dropped last week for Matt Ryan)

- Tyrod Taylor at New England

- Alex Smith at Pittsburgh

- Joe Flacco hosting Oakland

- Ryan Tannehill at Cincinnati

- Trevor Siemian at Tampa Bay

What do you guys think? Stick with Eli at Minnesota or try my luck elsewhere?

Flacco at the leagues worst pass defense looks the best to me. Minny has been shutting everybody down
