How would you spend 20 bucks on gaming?
How would you spend 20 bucks on gaming?
I got a little of birthday cash but I'm trying to be responsible and not blow it all on video games, so I'm hoping to get this as much bang for buck as I can with 20 dollars. Any suggestions? how would you spend twenty dollars on gaming right now?

A gamefly subscription would net you the most bang for the buck...

If your into RPGs Dragon Quest 8 and Final Fantasy 12 will get you over 200 hours of gaming combined. DQ8 is awesome and FF12 is good if given a chance. Best part is both can be owned for under $20.00 if your willing to buy used.

Unreal Tournament 3 Black, X-COM UFO Defense, and X-COM Terror from the Deep. It'll run you $22, but it's totally worth it.

I got some birthday cash recently, as well, so I've been on the look out.
Here's what I want:
Galerians ASH
Deus Ex
JSRF
Gun Valkyrie
And all for under $20!

I guess it would depend on what systems you own, retro systems or current. Yopu could land yourself a handful of used Genesis carts for $20
With PS2 & X-Box games, you could get maybe 2-5 games used, but remember in most cases if a game is VERY cheap it is for a reason, most likley because it will not sell, but then again in a few cases it is because it sold so well that everyone already has it.
You could also use $20 on a a Wii points card if you have a Wii
:Edit:
Just noticed your sig, so if you do not own them already here are some suggestions
Genesis
NHL '94
Aladdin
Lion King
Sega CD
Rise of the Dragon
N64
WWF No Mercy
If you look around, you may be able to get all of these used and it could come to $15-$30, depending on if you want the games complete or just carts.

Search craigslist, ebay, pawn shops, and all the other obvious places. And remember to be patient. Don't jump on the first thing you find unless you're certain that it's a really sweet deal.
Sometimes it takes a few days to find the best deals because people usually snatch them up right away, so scour the internet and keep your eyes peeled. Most people don't realize how much gaming stuff you can actually get for $20 if you're smart about it.

Gamestop's running a B2G1 promo right now. You could probably get quite a bit of gaming goodness cheap there.

Here is a place worth checking out that I do get my retro gaming fix, http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Lukie-Games__W0QQ_armrsZ1QQ_fsubZQ2d999 Occasionally, he does list most of his items with free shipping, I don't know when he does it, but I guess its something he does at least once every month. He does take good care of games.
