Re: Games Acquired 2016
I pretty much count anything game related including systems, and accessories in my list.
Surprised you finally bit the bullet and picked one up. Working good so far and is setting it up a little easier?

Re: Games Acquired 2016
oh man, plug and play easy. Download the software, plug in the stuff, and follow the directions. I played Lucky's Tale for a while and was really blown away at the immersion. I would never have bought this if I hadn't raised funds selling off my console stuff so that the hobby paid for the hobby. Not a dime came out of "my pocket." I am very happy to have acquired this. Even if it is sort of frivolous at this point, I figure I don't buy consoles - so the last big purchase for my rig was my 970 two years ago. So this is the next big one. And the 970 is running VR stuff just fine, so I'm okay for a while.Fragems wrote:Surprised you finally bit the bullet and picked one up. Working good so far and is setting it up a little easier?

You were right, after playing Senran Kagura Estival man it's rough unless you need more of this stuff.ElkinFencer10 wrote:TEKTORO wrote:First game of the month for me Megatagmension Blanc PS Vita
I think everyone here knows what a Nep-fanatic I am, and I did NOT like that game. At all. It's the only game in the entire series I dislike (including Producing Perfection), but they really dropped the ball on that one IMO.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Exhuminator Claus left a present under the Neo Geo for me while I was at work; I must have been a good little scrub.

Re: Games Acquired 2016
My wife was still out of town; so, of course, I went video game shopping. Here's what I got:
Defender II (2600)
Othello (2600)
Dragon Quest VII (3DS)
Nail 'n Scale (GB)
Ys Seven (PSP)
Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold Edition (Xbox 360)
I got a great deal on Marvel Ultimate Alliance: Gold Edition. (It was only $36 at Gamestop, about 60% of its eBay price.) It was the last game I needed to complete my collection of physical Xbox 360 games; so, I am very pleased with that purchase!
I also received a few Famicom games in the mail:
Ginga no Sannin
Jumbo Ozaki no Hole-in-One Professional
Mah Jong
These games get me a lot closer to completing my collection of first-party games for the Famicom/NES. (If a game is available in North America, I get the NES version. If it was not released outside of Japan, I get the Famicom version. I need Stack Up to complete my NES set, and to complete my Famicom set I need Gomoku Narabe Renju, Popeye no Eigo Asobi, Family Basic, Devil World, Famicom Wars, Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem Gaiden, and Joy Mech Fight.)

Re: Games Acquired 2016
Got two falcom games yesterday. Ys Seven for the PSP and Trails Of Cold Steel SE. I actually didn't want the special edition but because the prices were the same i bought but now i'm glad that they were because the box that the game comes with is actually sturdy and look's pretty cool. The art book that comes with is probably useless like the other Xseed art books (they are always full of art that you see inside the game....no sketches and stuff like that) but since i didn't pay extra for it i don't mind.
I would have prefered the vita version but the load times are supposedly longer on the vita so i went with the PS3 one.

My Goal this year is to be <$40 a month.
9 Months in! Doing pretty good! Sold off a lot via ebay, traded to local store for credit. This has kept costs down and allowed us to use our money elsewhere, which has been really nice.
