I did get the EPSXe to run a game but i didn't get the PS3 controller (nefarious one) to work and then mysteriously EPSXe suddenly started complain about some missing dll file and at that point i threw my hands in the air. I need to get back to trying to make it run again at somepoint (saving the guide)
Navigation can be harder for sure at times in Kings Field because some places look so similiar and it's kinda annoying that there's so many locked chests and door's that i can be hard to remember that what was what and where.
But at least the game's world doesn't seem to be that big so it's managable.
I'm interested trying Shadow Tower at one point and i was wondering how long exactly does it take to get to the blacksmith. I heard that the game is pain in the ass before that.
What RPG are you playing right now?

Shadow Tower is actually on the PSN.

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Nice list TEKTORO. The PSN PSOne Classics selection really is top tier by this point. I've even been a sucker and have rebought some games just so I can keep the discs/cases in further pristine shape, or not bother with disc swapping (not sure how that works with the digital versions, I imagine you just push the button to prompt continuing).

That's the biggest one I can think of.
I'm not sure if the Lunar's are on there either and it might be missing some other Working Designs stuff.
I keep holding out for Valkyrie Profile.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Is there a handy list of PS1 RPGs that are on PSN????

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Thanks for the list, Tekkie.
Part of me wants to download some of the pricier PSX titles. But another part of me knows that I may cave and just buy physical copies eventually. This very thing thing happened sometime last year - I went on the Virtual Console and downloaded Super Mario Bros. 2 and The Mysterious Murasame Castle because "I'll never own a Famicom Disk System." A few weeks later I bought a Sharp Twin Famicom and both games.
As for the question posed by the thread title, I have just begun...

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Yeah I can't really justify $50+ for a single game. Thankfully I scooped up all my SNES favorites around that price point before that got really crazy.
A major pet peeve I have though is with the very few incomplete PSX JRPG's that I own. Breath of Fire IV, only have the disc for that one. Vagrant Story, only have the disc and manual. Legend of Mana I'm not even a fan of, but I only have the disc but want it complete. Maybe another one or two. There's some other random cheaper titles I have in a CD holder. Does this irk anyone else? haha. I mean, I've completely given up and don't really care when it comes to cartridges, but with PSX games it bugs me a lot nowadays and I kind of want to buy them again to get them complete.

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Just randomely installed Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure from Stream today and it's wonderful, played 3 hours straight and that isn't usual for me at all.
If ARPG from Falcom which plays like combination of YS and Threads of Fate sound good to you give, it a shoot.

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
No problem guys, there's a lot of RPGs right now on PSN across all platforms. My physical ps1 collection is larger than my DL library but I personally prefer the downloads because there are no issues with playback such as stuttering cutscenes and I don't need bunch of memory cards, also some games have been fixed as well on PSN compared to the original releases I believe Final Fantasy Origins has some good fixes although I still need to download that.
Still no Lunars except for the PSP version which is very good as well but has a few changes from the original SSS. I'd love Einhander to come on the US PSN, Square is back nowadays so not sure what's the wait!
Ys meets threads of fate.... What!! I have to get Gurmin now.
As for RPGs I'm playing, I'm sorta playing Lost Odyssey I keep falling asleep though because the 360 is in my bedroom which I hangout in to sleep and this one barely counts but Mad Max too since it's one of the rare games that focus on the car as an RPG aspect the rest of the game is action-brawler. I love car RPGs and there's barely any afaik, Final Lap Twin and Car Battler Joe are the only others?
