Something looks a little off in that artwork, anyway, and I'm not talking about the assets. Perhaps this is the Rob Liefeld of ecchi gaming art?

(For the record, I think some of Rob's stuff is pretty good. But then you get stuff that didn't turn out quite right... which can happen to any artist, especially in a time crunch or if you've been staring at it too long.

No, not staring that way.)

So I finally got myself the PS Vita TV. Got the bundle for $73 on Amazon. I was waiting for the price to fall lower as I've seen it in the $60s range. I didn't want to miss out if they randomly disappeared or if prices increase.

I'd say the price isn't bad for the unit, a dualshock 3 controller, and an 8gb card.

Also, for all intents and purposes, best buy no longer stocks anything Vita related. Been to 4 stores and not one item.

Edit: the item I ordered was cancelled by the seller claiming miscount on stock.

Na, that's not bad. I got mine for $20, but that was just the unit and power cord; no controller or memory card. Then again, I already had a Vita and never even use my PS TV, so that was fine with me (I mainly bought it just to have it in the collection and just in case I ever decided to use it).

This is probably not the time to say I bought mine in Walmart for $30, the bundle with the DS3, LEGO: The Movie, and Sly Cooper...

Still, not a bad price if all you care about is the supported games.

Sarge has insane luck when it comes to buying video games and video game hardware.

His Dirt Cheap finds will make you cry. It's best not to know.

Haha, yeah, although I haven't had quite as much luck there lately. (EDIT: Oh, right, I did snag the Diablo II Battle Chest for $4 there last weekend. Found out why it was there, one of the discs didn't want to read properly, despite appearing pristine. Got out my better CD reader and it powered through it. :))

The PS TV deal was in Walmart, of all places. I should probably check to see if they've got another one, that way I can have one that's updated and completely legit, another that's hacked, and an extra DS3 to use. ;)

(I'm guessing at this point they don't, it's been several months since I grabbed it.)

Oh, thinking of Vita stuff, I just saw this:

It's supposed to be a bit like Valkyrie Profile 2. Definitely on my radar now.

Let me know how that is if you pick it up. If it gets your stamp of approval, I might pick it up on PS4.

So I ordered the PS Vita TV and I got a cancellation email the seller on Amazon saying that they miscounted stock and no longer has it available.

So angry. Maybe it's not meant to be. But hey I still have the OLED Vita!

Edit: I realized it was not fulfilled by Amazon so I guess one is subjected to this stuff.
