Okay, thanks for your opinion. I'm going to count it as a beat then.ExedExes wrote:There are no credits. I've beaten it in all the possible configurations, pretty much. Player & CPU levels 1-3, scenarios on, different time periods. As long as your side wins it's a clear for me. But it's a really fun game that keeps everything simple, which I appreciate.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Any thoughts on Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure? I really enjoy the first three games in the series but I've never gotten around to trying this one.
The fact that it has so many variations (SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, Jaguar, PC, GBA) makes me a bit giddy. I adore heavily ported games.

I also checked various Lets/Long Plays on YouTube, one guy beat it in 3 turns and another guy took all the territories except for the one the last enemy unit was standing on, and I still didn't see anything outside of the victory screen. It's safe to say at this point that a clear's a clear for N&S.Exhuminator wrote:Okay, thanks for your opinion. I'm going to count it as a beat then.ExedExes wrote:There are no credits. Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I just had the weird realization today that the PS4 has a decent chance of being the last non-Nintendo console I buy during the "current gen". In fact, it might be my last non-Nintendo from this gen on. For me, it's starting to feel like I'm just better off hunkering down, picking up the best and brightest games of various consoles (or hardcore emulating) and just riding it out.
Part if is that games are just getting damn long nowadays, for one, and looking at my future, with the possibility of a family and all, gaming time will get cut, and short but quick bursts of old-school, simple games will probably be more palatable.

Nintendo's consoles are the only ones that aren't basically handicapped PCs anyway. Sony has a good number of exclusives that aren't on PC, but every Xbox One game from now on will also be on PC, defeating the purpose of the console for hardcore gamers like us.

That happens from time to time when they have a limited-time sale. It happened with Transformers: Devastation a little while back as well, and I've seen it many, many times over the years. The new copies will return to their normal price pretty quickly.strangenova wrote:Gamestop has new copies of Triforce Heroes marked to 25$. Meanwhile used copies still marked at 30$

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Playing the unreleased Warcraft Adventures for the last few hours and I have tonsay that it is a solid adventure title. The puzzles are not entirely arbitrary and the story is interesting, although it isn't the best execution. Some historic characters like Zul'jin are lowered to measely pawn brokers to solve a puzzle. It is just weird to think that at one point, Thrall rode a mechanized, flying pig to freedom in order to thwart a gnome plan to utilize homing chicken spies. It is very very silly.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
It's unclear what the scope of the cross buy program will be. Obviously the game needs to come out on the Xbone and PC for that to happen, but will games hitting all three platforms show up on cross buy? Will we start seeing previous Xbox only titles getting launch day PC ports as well?noiseredux wrote:Are we sure every one will?
