Don't worry Elky, there are tons of retro RPGs with strong tiddy factors.BoneSnapDeez wrote:My sweet child, someday you will thrust yourself deep into the world of retro JRPGs and realize how lackluster all this NIS stuff is (tiddy factor notwithstanding).

What are these games traditionally for? I saw download links for some, but the descriptions were the best part. Those kinds of games really aren't for me, but the poster's descriptions were just so kurt it just caught me really off guard. Some make it sound like the game is literally just an obstacle to the "adult content" mentioned, which really begs the question of why even play the game in the first place? I identify everyone via avatar, so if you change your avatar, I genuinely might completely forget who you are. -- Me

The Dragon Knight series did it the best, especially with part three. The "sex scenes" - if you can really call them that - are played for laughs and the games have an overall lighthearted and amusing tone. Gameplay is solid too, to boot.
YU-NO, by the same developer, is also pretty solid. Apparently it's being remade.

Ah, you reminded me that I need to get back to YU-NO at some point. I started playing it a while back, but I didn't get very far because school was hellish at the time. It seemed really interesting from what I played though.BoneSnapDeez wrote: YU-NO, by the same developer, is also pretty solid. Apparently it's being remade.
It's cool that there's going to be a remake, but the new art looks a little meh imo.

Starting to think that ecchi and hentai games need their own thread to contain all this madness.

Bone speaks truth, though. If I were to *ahem* want salacious content, I wouldn't want to wade through a whole game for it, especially not a sub-standard one. It's why I pretty much ignore them... although I do own Ar Tonelico 1 & 2, which are a little skeevy.
So much of what Idea Factory and others do is done much, much better elsewhere. The golden era of SNES, PSX, and PS2 has ruined me on most RPGs. Not that there aren't good ones left, they're just not as copious as they once were.
In other news: Dragon Quest VII coming in less than two weeks. Happy days!
