So what have you guys been watching lately?

Well just finished season 1 of the original Digimon(phone is being iffy trying to cast it to the tv). Don't know why but I still find it slightly better than pokemon. Also binge watched American dad for episodes I know i haven't seen at all. As soon as this is done I think I may try to watch tri(though debating whether or not to wait until it goes to theaters since there's one near my house showing it on the 15th).

My systems: NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, original gba, gba sp(001), ds lite, 3ds, vita, psp, PSone(101 model) ps2, ps3(320gb model), ps4, retron 5, and Dreamcast.

Awesome! I love Digimon. Season 1 of Digimon beats Pokemon any day. Better characters, better storytelling, and better animation abound here.

I've watched Tri also. I'm not going to get into specific spoilers here, I just want to let you in on a few things beforehand.

First, Tri was billed as a series of movies. This isn't exactly true. It's more like a series of made-for-TV movies that can each be broken up into three or four episodes of a TV show. Think of the Futurama movies. You know how they're basically three or four episodes strung together? Same thing here.

Second, some fans speculated that season 2 a.k.a. "Digimon Zero Two" was going to be ignored or written out of the canon because all of the marketing materials focused on the season 1 characters. This is not true at all. Season 2 still happened. The season 1 characters are the main characters of Digimon Tri, but there are multiple references to things that happened in season 2.

Getting into the last third of Jessica Jones. That show is stellar and I think I'm in love with Pam.

Oh and just found out about Jessica's parents, brutal.
That poor Gameboy! :(

@samson yeah i kinda knew it was several episodes as a movie. I can't wait to see it but i just hope I can get cast to work better so I can finish season 2. It's still rather strange to me though as a second season. It's still good but there's some weird discrepancies between it and the first. Especially with Gatomon, the explanation isn't good enough for me to why she's considerably weaker this time around.

I caught the first two episodes of Donald Glover's new show Atlanta last night. You know what? It's accurate to how this city feels. The places the characters go, the places they work, the places they talk about...yeah, that's all real. It's as much fun watching it to recognize the city as it is just to see the characters.

I just finished up Whitechapel. Gotta say, I'm sad to see that one go. I love suspense/thriller shows and when you add in a dash of police drama and a heavy helping of historical crime, well, that's the kind of thing that gets my attention. It's sad that it wasn't continued past the fourth season. Not only does it mean that I have to find a new show to watch*, but it also means that now I'll never know how that damnable little old lady factored into everything. *sigh*

*Probably American Horror Story, but I was trying to hold off until October for that one.
