What would Malcolm Reynolds do is how I play in WRPG's.

I'll be nice and help you, but you have to give me all your credits or key items in return. Nothing is free.

So that's post Battle of Serenity Reynolds, rather than the optimistic rebel he used to be.

I remember when I rewatched the show I realized that at the beginning before running out to the AA gun he pulls a cross out of his shirt and kisses it.

I still haven't seen the last episode actually, so it'll never end.

I did see Serenity though.

Ha. Ha. You can say that again.

Fallout 4 was the biggest disappointment for me. Changing the way that perks work and removing skills was annoying, but it could've worked if they pulled the game off well. The voice acting and limited speech options is awful. The fact that speech in general is such a rarely used skill, most quests can only be completed one way, and that one way is usually pulling out a gun and killing everything, is unforgivable. The RPG elements and mechanics are virtually non-existent.

And as a post-apocalyptic FPS? It's just average in my opinion. Very simplistic mechanics, and not enough weapon variety to keep it exciting by constantly working towards new guns (Like, say, Borderlands). I might try it again on the new updated survival mode they added recently, maybe it could work well as a Stalker clone.

Gotta love that super restrictive and nearly pointless base building system though :P.

Am I the only who got irritated by the constantly repeating cries for help from the settlements? It was the same thing over and over. Kind of like playing the Alan Wake DLC!

Yeah they could really clog up your quest list if they wanted to.

I certainly enjoyed Fallout 4 a lot. It finally fixed the "potato face" problem Bethesda's had for a while. But yeah, the game has lots of flaws, especially if you stick to the story.

Story, just a little vital!

I still sunk 100 some hours into it for the platinum on PS4, since the gameplay itself was really fun to me. But yeah, once again Bethesda proves they have awful writers.

Re: Fallout 4 (now with GOTY release)

I'll use this thread to announce the GOTY edition is being released in September 26th. They are releasing a $99 version with the Pipboy for the US only. I missed it the first time so I made sure I got that version.

Despite the game being a disappointment (subjective) for some, I enjoyed my time with it. Survival mode during my second, and current, play through is pretty good. I enjoyed the gameplay more than past 3D Fallout games for sure. Writing may not have been the best and the story wasn't as solid as it could have been, but I thought it was worth the time and money (twice in my case).

I changed the title if it's okay with the TC.
