I stalked your Steam profile and saw you only had 22 hours on it. I'm at 23 and feels like I'm just getting started. Being extremely thorough. I just did the Rucker mission.MrPopo wrote:First 50:51. Ori and the Blind Forest - Xbox One

I felt like I was being pretty thorough. I ended up not looting the apartment by the Red Light District because at that point I figured it'd mostly be peanuts rewards. I did every quest I ran into.

Re: Games Beaten 2016
Had a Dead or Alive fest last night...

96. Dead or Alive Ultimate|Xbox|2004|fighting|32m|7/10

Dead or Alive Ultimate is a compilation fighting game developed by Team Ninja and released by Tecmo for the Xbox in 2004. It is a collection of the two previous games in the series, 1996's Dead or Alive and 1999's Dead or Alive 2. DOA Ultimate contains a high-resolution edition of the Sega Saturn version of Dead or Alive, and an enhanced remake of DOA2 which utilized the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball graphics engine and offered Dead or Alive 3 game mechanics.

I didn't particular care for the Saturn version of Dead or Alive, I actually prefer the PS1 version. So I finished its arcade mode and moved on. However, Dead or Alive 2's remake is amazingly good. The graphics still look nice to this day, and the controls are ultra responsive. Story mode is plenty of fun and if you choose to beat all character's story mode it'll keep you busy for quite a while. I recommend picking up Ultimate just for Dead or Alive 2's remake, eye candy and punch candy galore.

97. Dead or Alive 3|Xbox|2001|fighting|25m|9/10

Dead or Alive 3 is a fantastic 3D fighting game, easily in the top 3 of the sixth generation. It's right up there with Soulcalibur II and SuperSmash Bros. Melee, no joke. The amount of polish, attention to detail, and gameplay options makes Dead or Alive 3 a pure joy to experience. Balancing is spot on, each character feels meaty and worth using. Story mode is a plenty of fun. The OST is marvelous, with sound effects convincing and immersive. Environments are tiered and expand as players knock other players through walls or over ledges. Beyond that of course are the graphics, which still look amazing fifteen years later. With its super fluid frame rate, combined with well animated characters, great lighting, and particle and reflective effects galore... DoA3 is a technical marvel. But it's not all smoke and mirrors, Dead or Alive 3 is a legit masterpiece of its genre. I could go on and on, but all you really need to know is; if you love fighting games you'd better own Dead or Alive 3.

I picked those up recently too, been meaning to get to them.
Re: Games Beaten 2016
DOA3 is great. No question. I enjoyed the heck out of it, and it's got more going on under the hood than you'd think for a series that got its rep for its other assets.

3 was the online mainline DOA I didn't play. 2 and 5 have always been my favorites.
Re: Games Beaten 2016
I'd like to hear what some fans think of DOA4 and DOA5. I thought 4 sucked and when I looked into it more recently, I guess I'm not alone. I don't know much about 5 though. With no involvement from Itagaki, I wonder how it holds up now. The PS4 edition with a bunch of extras and such is $20 so I'll probably get it. Mai looks awesome too.

DoA4 is lackluster, you can skip it. DoA5 Ultimate is good stuff though. I own it on 360, and it's solid enough that I bought it again for Vita (DoA5 Plus).
