Sure thing. I can't advise on absolute prices, but I should be able to tell you relative costs and help you decide some good stuff to get on the cheap.
Also, it's pretty easy to mod a TG if you have some soldering skills (no chip necessary, at least), so you could get even cheaper Japanese games.

Re: Turbo Grafx16
If you like Bonk's Adventure you'll probably love Bonk's Revenge. Play feel is a little different, but I prefer it.

Re: Turbo Grafx16
I always had a love/hate relationship with this machine. I bought the TurboCD attachment when I was a kid, then they came out with the DUO and super CD titles.
For anyone not in the know, if you want to play SuperCDs on a turboCD, you had to buy the super system card.
And if you don't have the tuboCD add on and you want to use AV cables, you have to buy the turboBooster.
And if you're thinking of playing a game with more than one player, you have to buy the turboTap.
And if you're thinking of using Turbo16 peripherals on your TurboDuo, you have to buy an adapter.
And if you're thinking of storing more than a few save files on your system, you have to buy the Tennokoe bank card.
And if you're thinking of buying a Tennokoe bank card, you have to buy the Kisado HuCard adapter.

It wasn't quite as confusing for Japanese PC Engine players. The Turbo just got, I dunno, screwed around with when it was brought to the US.

Re: Turbo Grafx16
Buy a Japanese system and stick to Japanese peripherals and you won't have any problems. If you want to play US games just get a region mod installed.
Re: Turbo Grafx16
Ok Marurun (or whoever knows), what are the best 4 player games for the system that are not Bomberman or Dungeon Explorer. I am at a loss trying to find more. I have found some sports titles, but which ones are worthwhile?
