No,I took out the internals and put them in a plastic bag and after the paint dried I put them back in,you could leave them in but you might loose the small pieces.Their isn't that many pieces so its easy to figure how to put it together again.

that looks pretty damn awesome. It kinda reminds me of robocop's gun.
