They do kind of blend after a while most of the anime I watched from 5+ years back I've compeletly forgotten aside from some of the more pivotal characters, the major plot points, and the endings. Started D.Grayman over again so I'm not lost when watching Hallow which just picked up the story again all these years later . It was one of my first anime and it feels like I'm watching it for the first time .
Also for anyone interested in more One Punch Man style anime there is a new show called Mob Psycho 100 it's from the same author as One Punch Man and is a pretty similar scenario with a super OP main character just this time around it's a young esper. It starts out somewhat slow but gets better 2-3 episodes in.
Has everyone seen Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World? This seems to be one of the better anime I've seen come out over the last few years.
Without spoiling too much I'll say that the show borrows elements from the anime ERASED and is a rollercoster overall with an insane amount of plot twists while still retaining the "stuck in a mmo popoular theme". Somehow the show seems to be painting every character as the villain.
Currently watching Re:Zero as it airs so I'm on episode 20. The only downside to the show is the character has mental breaks and can be really annoying at times. However he does have a solid excuse for being somewhat crazy given the circumstances he is presented with within the anime. Still he does come off very whiny at times which is a big turn off to some people and there are episodes where he simply wallows around in self pity.
It is really good though with a decent plot line with some great characters, solid animation with plenty of action scenes, and the voice acting is pretty good as well. It's a very brutal show at times though so be prepared for the occasional gory deaths although some sites have the gore censored.
It's done with puppets, but it looks like anime. Sometimes it looks a little silly, but other times it looks amazing.
It is a classic Wuxia fantasy tale following the interwoven story of several notorious warriors in ancient China. It uses a little CGI for effects, but everything else is puppetry. To get a sense of what it looks like in action, here is a trailer:
Digimon (original series with Tai, Matt, Mimi et al) season 2. Still hopeful I'll finish this before the 15th. I'm really loving it just wish near the end of the first one I wouldn't of sidetracked and multitasked it's a little weird now even though i'm still interested. Just seems like a big jump though to see how it changed now with season 2.

I'm watching Digimon Tamers for the first time and I'm loving it. I don't know what it is about kids and their magical animals fighting the forces of evil that endears me so much. Too much Pokemon as a kid, maybe.

I like it but not as much as season 1. There is some stuff about it that's really pissing me off right now. I'm talking big differences between characters and abilities in the first season and now. I understand there was a decent time jump, but some of these don't make much sense. Then there's the repetiveness to evolving that could've been shortened somehow with this stuff. Otherwise it's still really good, and really funny.
@fragems I'm still waiting to see what happens with the funiroll deal for that one. Should be really interesting to see if they get a quicker dub on it. I still stand by my habits to watch dubs unless I just really can't for some odd reason. (sword art, and AOT are two exceptions because I couldn't wait and now i can't go back seeing the weird differences in this one). It just helps my multitasking if it's in english, i can't multitask with subs and it's really making me wish I had the time to study japanese. Can't this semester since i'm taking a full load but eventually.

Excuse the double posting but has anyone here heard of Black Rock Shooter, or Bongou Stray Dogs? Just happened to wonder into the Japanese Culture Club at school, as they were wrapping up a presentation on Japanese Literature which somehow lead into Bongou Stray dogs(which is just weird it's somehow based partially on writers from Japanese literature especially with one being a suicidal maniac) and I have to say I'm impressed with both of these. If only I didn't have math right as it started I'd of caught more of it.

Watched a bit of it went it started airing but I moved on to other stuff pretty quickly. The show is a we bit slow at the start and it's one of those where the cast is almost completely guys which is one of my turn offs. The writing and animation were top notch though so it's definitely one I might go back and watch sometime. There was just a lot of other shows that I was more interested in when it was airing in Japan.
