So Yahtzee's review today on the new House of the Dead made me decide to see if I can get Typing of the Dead and a keyboard for cheap. And I found on Amazon that they had a few in stock for Amazon itself.
One-clicked that, and found a Marketplace seller with a $12 sealed copy of the game. I was really surprised to see a company that was still making the Dreamcast keyboard. They're apparently also making memory units and the region unlocking disk.

Re: Dreamcast Keyboard
Well you know, a full sized keyboard is the most optimal way to play your handhelds.
Re: Dreamcast Keyboard
I have four dreamcast keyboards - average out to about $7 each. I bought two for a gimmick for last years Momocon, but it went over so well that my girlfriend has asked for her own set. I just wish they would port over Typing of the Dead 1 and 2 to the Wii as a compliation with USB keyboard support.
If you only plan on playing it by yourself, the PC version is alot cheaper. Not as good, no same screen multiplayer, but still quite good.

Typing of the Dead 2? Had never heard about that, but now I have read about it on Wikipedia and it states, that it has never been released outside of Japan..so is there an option to write ordinary English characters with an ordinary keyboard?fast wrote:I have four dreamcast keyboards - average out to about $7 each. Re: Dreamcast Keyboard
I havent dropped the $60 on it that Play Asia has wanted but as you can see in this video the answer is yes:
And since I now have a Japanese XP machine, go old coworkers still using me to freecycle stuff, I will buy a copy and give it a go.
