Ever have a gaming "off-day"? Like you are playing a game you're good at but getting destroyed by it like it was your first time.

I try not to get frustrated with games, but when this happens I get really disappointed in myself.

Yeah man, this happens to me from time to time. it's especially disheartening since there are very few games I'm good at on a good day.

That's the nature of competitive gaming, to me. Play a game long enough, like the one-month tournaments I do here and on Twin Galaxies, and then return to it later on and get wrecked.

That was my last Sunday, when I took far too many tries to beat the third mission of Ghost Bear's Legacy. The fact I was using an underweight mech is no excuse.

I do stuff like that on THIS forum all the time. Someone links to another thread, so I start reading it as if for the first time... Then I realize I posted in that thread, but completely forgot about it. One time, I was searching for a thread to link for a relevant conversation in another thread. I finally found it and skimmed through the thread backwards. Then I found out it was ME who started the thread, and I had completely forgotten that I did.

Haha, what happens to me a lot is that I try to look for information on a game only to find my very own posts

Has anyone on here ever heard of Sannen Kazoku? (Thousand Member Family). I got a badge of the cartridge on my Japanese 3DS's Badge Arcade. It's a Japanese only GBA game made by the same guys who made Sutte Hakkun (that weird SFC puzzle platformer). It just looked weird so I was wondering if anyone here had every tried it, given that a lot of folks here like weird games and import games (as do I Xp).

Ristar should've gotten more popular, and he should have got his own 3D platformer on the saturn. I honestly think his colorful world and arm stretch gimmick would have made for some great platforming in the 3d era.

d00d I think under utilizing Ristar is probably one of Sega's greatest mistakes. That guy should have been Sonic's best bud and one of their key iconic mascots to this day, like Zelda or Metroid with Nintendo after Mario. Ristar was freaking amazing and brimming with personality. Definitely a strange one shot release.
