That's what I was saying days ago, but it was about Lv30 not so much 15. The story though graphed it and you have this ever rising higher ski slope of sorts on that chart. The more your level, the harder the pokemon of whatever variety will be to capture (and obviously needing more due to more XP needed between levels to rank up) causing a lot of wasted pokeballs almost forcing someone into some 'but I put in all this time...' rage to buy some supplies.

I'm not even in the double digits yet so I can't say much, but I did already run out of pokeballs. I'm finding some stuff, not the overly common rats birds and bugs, are taking upwards of 3-4 to get and when I was averaging in the mid-20s with pokeballs in the bank and getting so many yesterday I'm cleaned out.

Yeah the pokemon are tougher to catch because their cps are much higher now. The only thing I find to be genuinely frustrated are the high cp battles where, "wind" affects your through. No matter how straight you throw it will be thrown wildly to the left or right. If you tryou and accommodate for it, it still doesn't change. You essentially have to throw 4 or 5 balls to get 1 chance of catching it before you have to repeat that process. Best way to handle this is use berries, but you still waste the balls.

The heat has kept me from going out and playing much. Today I got to have a nice walk, in an industrial district, since my car broke down and activities broke down and I walked from the repair shop to a rental car place. Hatched an egg and got Magnemite. Almost done with my third 10k egg. I am saving up all my pokemon evolutions for the big push to 20.

The statement has been made!

Count the number of gyms I took in an hour!

Here's how it all went down:

- The Tentacruel at the Flagpole Gym lasted till at least early this morning, now officially my longest stint at a gym (this was a level 4 gym with other tough Pokémon so that certanly helped)

- I took down the first level 3 Eagle Gym and assigned my Tentacruel.

- As I was heading to the Japanese restaurant, I had lost the Tentacruel. It was already Valor's gym, so I re-assigned the Tentacruel to reinforce it.

- Hospice gym was also Valor's so I assigned Flareon.

- Flagpole gym was Mystics @ Level 4. 4 battles later, I swept all the fights and took it back for Valor and assigned Exeggutor.

This means I only have 3 Hyper Potions and 2 Regular Potions. I had 3-4 gyms in this hour and lost 2, but I was able to double my Gym Defense Bonus to 1000 dust and 20 coins (more than 1 gym multiplies your bonus!).

This also means I can't fight for the forseeable future, just assign future Pokémon to friendly gyms. Even with all the stops I hit, I just ended up getting balls instead.

I have 4 5km eggs due to hatch tomorrow, but it's a long way (50K) to 21 and extra Hyper Potions.....

I really wish we could just buy them.

I currently live out in the middle of nowhere. Today my wife and I were walking our dogs down the road. We stopped for a minute to give our dogs some water. Then proceeded to walk the dogs some more. A farmer saw us doing this as he was driving his truck towards us on the road. He slowed down and stuck his head out the window and said:

"Hey are ya'll playin' that Pokemon GO?"

Then he laughed and drove off.

If a redneck farmer out in the middle of nowhere Georgia knows what Pokemon GO is, this game is beyond huge.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

With how bad it is outside, I decided to take the kid to one of the 2 local malls and it has like 10 poke stops in it so I walked the perimeter and ended up I think with around 40 balls. I ended up getting lots of goodies too, and also finally after the loss a week ago, got a Staryu registered and picked up a spare. On the way out the damn server got retarded, but recovered 1/2 way back at a light, there I found a Chancy. Man I'm still pissed, 4-5 balls lost, it was 27CP and got away! It was one aggressive pink prick. >:\ Closer to home, I did spot and snap up a sandshrew, never saw one of those before either. And at home on the drive (area) another goldeen for me, odd, no water around here. Does thunderstorms get tracked by Niantic to pull up water pokemon?

And on those server issues, I just now fired it up before hitting 'submit' and it clocked me in at lv9. Oh also I got a lucky egg, never had that before, and it spit out 9 eggs of which 4 are 5km and the others are 2km.

I like to believe it does, that's what the rumors are over at the Reddits I frequent. I find more water Pokémon after rain it seems, the other day I was coming out of a Subway during rain and a Goldeen was right there. I even got a Pikachu in the middle of a thunderstorm. Figure those out.

The Flareon and the Exeggutor are still at their respective gyms. I think the Flareon will last longer because of its higher CP and it seems the gym takes a little more driving to get to (plus most of the hospice employees seem to favor Team Valor, I saw an "RNShaw" from Valor have a Pokémon there at a recent visit). The Flagpole gym is always more hotly contested, just today Instinct, Mystic, and now Valor has it. I'm guessing more of my teammates fortified it; it's the only way I imagine the Exeggutor is still there. Right now my beef is with a Mystic player who I'm always seeing at the flagpole gym, the Eagle gym, and another gym at a nearby church, at level 21. I kicked his Flareon out of the flagpole gym at level 4 earlier. I sent a strong message to Mystic that kind of crap won't be tolerated in Valor territory (heck the entire stretch of highway these gyms were on as well as another church was all decked out in red today!)

More fun tomorrow, mainly Pokéstops at this point. Here's to building up my potion stock again.

I ranked like 60% through Lv9 last night using evolves and the lucky egg trick, also picked up a vaporeon and surprisingly not my strongest still edged out by mere points by Nidoking.

Just got started a few minutes ago. I think it's funny how many Pokemon you can catch just by sitting in your room lol. Found a weedle and pidgey a few moments ago. My character also levels up when I'm sitting in place lol

For what seems to be the 100th time, Racketboy ate my post and it didn't show up in the thread.

Anyway, I was able to get downtown today and I left 2 more Pokémon at new gyms. They lasted most of the day. The Exeggutor that I left at the flagpole gym at 5:30 last night lasted for nearly 19 hours, the longest stint ever, because Team Valor added a Vaporeon over 1800CP to that gym later on (with HP I'd imagine over 200).

But when I got there, so many Pokestops!
Image
At least 15, the most I've ever seen together. I stopped at as many as I could, but ended up getting more balls than potions. I have over 200 Pokéballs now.

Later today I saw that Team Instinct took over the flagpole gym and had a Gyarados there. I decided to battle despite my limited potions, and I had Jolteon and Seel which had both its moves Ice type (super effective against Dragon) and I took back the gym.

So at one point today I had 3 Pokémon in gyms.
Image
They're all back in my stable having been soundly defeated. I've got 7 wounded Pokémon and no potions to heal them, but I keep getting useless berries and Revives so I got that going for me. Obviously I can't battle until I get more potions, so the next few days I'll be doing more Pokéstops than anything else.

New Pokémon today though, a Vulpix from an egg and a Vileplume from evolution!
