Leave it to those Castlevania composers to tax out the GB:

Another crazy discovery from the Legacy Music Hour podcast.

I'm supposed to be compiling music playlists right now, but I've been stuck on this jam for the past twenty minutes:
MegaRace - Newsan by Stéphane Picq.

Taito has such a wonderful, charming, fun sound to all of their games. I usually associate them with B-grade stuff, but The Legacy Music Hour put up a Taito mix today that frankly really blew me away. This was the playlist:

I always love the darker and more intense tracks though, these were awesome:
06 - Cosmic Air Way (Mountains Area) - Darius Plus (PC Engine SuperGrafx) - OST - TurboGrafx
Syvalion - Hayato Matsuo, Koichi Sugiyama (advisor) - Chapter 4 - Taito/Toshiba - Super Famicom - 1992
Thunder Fox - Kazuko Umino - Old War Field (Stage 1) - Taito - arcade - 1990
(only found Genesis)
Estpolis Denki II - Yasunori Shiono - The Earth - Neverland/Taito - Super Famicom - 1995
