I think some of you must live near a hell of a lot of hotspots and pop up areas as I just don't see that much, but I also only get out a couple hours or so a day too and you really can't do it while driving just when stopped. I'm just breaking into Lv7 on mine and my best one is only around 225 or so (not 250.) I'm running out of pokeballs too, down to 25.
I read a disturbing story online about the dreaded lv30 soft cap in the game. It hits a wall where even a 10cp little pidgey may take huge supplies of pokeballs just to catch as it turns into some weird pay wall.

Re: Pokémon Go
I just hit level 18 on my walk through the park, which had almost exclusively slowpokes. I don't see there being any weird pay wall after the level cap. How is that even possible? I am capturing low cp pokemon in one shot with no problem and even the stuff that has cps around 300-400 can be done in 1 or 2 pokeballs depending. I have almost 100 fruit which helps in those scenarios as well.

Re: Pokémon Go
Yeah the post is BS taking rumors from reddit. If you took this post as truth, I am living proof it is BS as the pokemon that supposedly have never been seen, being drowzee, shellder, volt orb and seel Are all pokemon I have found and collected, some in mass.Tanooki wrote:Not sure, was reading this: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Android/ ... sp?c=70736

Re: Pokémon Go
Yeah, I have several Shellder and a Voltorb. Drowzee literally appears by the hundred here in London (I've caught dozens and dozens, it's the 4th most common pokemon here after pidgey, rattata and spearow). I've not caught a Seel, but I've seen people with Dewgong's on gyms.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Yeah the post is BS taking rumors from reddit. Re: Pokémon Go
80% of what I see are just pidgey and ratata and another 10% towards eggsecutor and eeve, which is unfortunate. I don't see much else at all appear. The things I've picked up I've only seen once, sometimes twice and I've rolled around various areas and I even started it actually getting my first bundle of them over in Indiana about an hour from here.
Perhaps they're still working out how the variety works as it's new.

Re: Pokémon Go
It must be your area. Where my brother lives in the country, there is nothing but pidgeys and rattatas for the most part. Here, I see a huge variety of stuff ranging from geodudes to jinxes. It matters what time of day, weather and location. Some places like parks will have a concentration of a certain type, like the Detroit Zoo having Pikachu and the locale park having slowpokes.Tanooki wrote:80% of what I see are just pidgey and ratata and another 10% towards eggsecutor and eeve, which is unfortunate. Re: Pokémon Go
Yeah, people seem to get different stuff. I see people I know online complaining about endless Doduos. I've never seen a single one. I've also never seen an Exeggcute - I'd love to see more of those. Lot's og guys complaining about Weedle. I caught my first and only Weedle this morning after about a week of play.Tanooki wrote:80% of what I see are just pidgey and ratata and another 10% towards eggsecutor and eeve, which is unfortunate. I do see a lot of these guys though:
Pidgey
Rattata
Spearow
Drowzee
Zubat
Gastly
And these guys aren't uncommon:
Jynx
Krabby
Shellder
Horsea
Re: Pokémon Go
I'm sure it's my area, totally forgot do see a good many zubat. The maybe once a day or two thing would be something like an oddish or that kind of crab looking orange thing. I forgot the name and the game won't load at the moment.
I am in an old 50s style row of homes surrounded by trees and field on 2 of the sides, not much big business in the area either so it's handling the area like it's Pallet Town or something backwoods like.
