It's approximately 70%* titty anime. And there's still not enough titty anime.

*percentage may or may not be completely made up off the top of my head

You know I don't dig those Y's too much so far Bone, but the aesthetics are incredible with them. So maybe some of these games have that Falcom magic but with a battle system I'll enjoy a little more.

Still got Y's Origin and Ark to try out though.
Oh yeah, I've said it before but it's worth repeating. Origin murders Ark.

Ark, Felghana, and Origin (listed these both in order of release and quality) all use the same engine. Origin is better than the other two combined. It's euphoric.

Also, try out Gurumin sometime if you want a fun and relaxing dungeon crawler with 5th gen style blocky graphics.

Bone is usually right about stuff, and this is the rightest he's ever been.

Everyone who has even an inkling of a taste for action-RPGs needs to play Ys Origin. Like right now, stop reading my stupid sentences and play this game.

Ehhh... I think Felghana is right there. I didn't like the ton of asset reuse in Origin. That being said, it's a fantastic game. Napishtim has the beginnings of the modern series' awesomeness, but that janky dash jump lets it down. (Seriously, how was that ever a good idea?)

So Star Ocean Integrity & Faithlessness is starting to drive me crazy with the backtracking. The quests have a lot of worthwhile rewards and frequently require you to go backtrack to kill enemies or get items. And that's before the narrative forces you to backtrack. What makes it annoying is it takes so long. You frequently can't avoid the prolific enemy packs and your move speed relative to the map size is slow.

I hit the halfway point in Persona 3 this morning. I'm loving it, but I still think I like Persona 4 more (though part of that might because 4 was my first Persona game and my second Shin Megami Tensei game after SMT4).

The title of that game makes me cringe so hard.

I put about an hour into I Am Setsuna. I'm really digging the all piano soundtrack and the Chrono Trigger battle system.
