Do I need both copies of each game?I'd like to find Ducktales: Remastered with the pin and apparently there are three different versions of Splinter Cell. I don't really want one let alone all three.
I feel like if you're going for the full retail set than you DO need all three of those. The variants with pins/big boxes, etc - those are bonuses, not different games.

I think it's a great quest, but some of those early titles quickly went out of production and never got reprints. I don't know how the market has gone, but they'll be a chunk of change.

Good luck!

Probably starting up Devil's Third today. Pretty excited, assuming it has that DOA/Ninja Gaiden Itagaki flavor to it.

I wrote about it in another thread, but I recently started playing Armillo. It is a very fun, Wii U exclusive platformer that plays like a mash up of Marble Madness, Sonic Spinball, and Super Mario Galaxy. It is a lot of fun; it is only $8 in the eShop, and I recommend it.

Imagine you turned a Steven Segal movie into a mid-budget video game. That's what Devil's Third plays like. It's my all-time favorite bad game. I love it so damn much, and I push it hard.

I plan on getting what I dub the "creation duo" of games: Minecraft and Terraria when they are at most $20 each.

Anyone here have them?

I have Minecraft for Wii U, but I haven't played this version yet. I plan on being Terraria when it drops to $20, as well.

Knocked out a few levels on Devil's Third last night...

It's bad.

But it does seem to be good bad. Kind of reminds me of Binary Domain a little, maybe leaning more into Deadly Premonition territory though. It's rough, but gets the job done and definitely has personality haha. Doesn't feel like it's $60 good, but well considering it's already OOP and the U is inevitably going to be really tough to collect for, I'm glad I picked it up before the prices averaged $80 and above (which is half of them so far).

Night and day coming out of Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge though haha... (and all the other action games I've played this summer).

I actually LOVED Devil's Third, but I also love Steven Segal movies, and that's basically a video game version of one of his movies...lol

I digress a little... because so far it doesn't seem like his wife and kids were murdered so he's out for revenge. The ultimate blueprint of Segal classics. HE'LL TAKE YOU TO THE BANK... THE BLOOD BANK.
(I'm a sucker for his movies too)

But yeah it does have that flavor to it haha, I think it'll be a fun romp. Ivan is laugh out loud amazing. Love the idle animations he'll do, and after lighting a cigarette it'll even stay on him for awhile in the midst of combat and doing things.
