A Win95 virtual machine might have worked better. But I'm glad you can play through it now.

That's something I considered. If I continued to have problems. Just beat the game though.

Since I finished Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE last night, I'm about to start Persona 3 FES this morning. That game got me on a Persona kick.

So I hear a lot about these games and they're supposed to be really good. I plan to check out the two PSP ones that made their way to Steam, but I still find the idea of playing JRPG's on a PC to be extremely weird.
How does this one shape up compared to the others?
Some Amazon reviews name drop Persona, Star Ocean, and ... Suikoden. I was sold on Suikoden.

The ones on Steam and GOG.com (TitS and TitS 2) are really solid. I've heard good things about this latest installment.
The rest of the series is kinda hit or miss. Some of the games are just really bland Dragon Quest rehashes with no real distinctive features. I do like the very first one, which was released in the States way back in the day. It also doubles as part VI of Dragon Slayer.

What a strange coincidence, the two on Steam are on sale now so I think I'll grab the first one.
You know I don't dig those Y's too much so far Bone, but the aesthetics are incredible with them. So maybe some of these games have that Falcom magic but with a battle system I'll enjoy a little more.
Still got Y's Origin and Ark to try out though.

Criminal Girls: Invite Only is what I started playing recently. It's a bit on the grindy side so far, but the battles are kind of interesting since you can't always do what you want to do. Instead, your four party members will each give you a random option to choose from. It adds a bit of extra RNG to the battles I guess, but I'm still curious to see if I continue to like it later in the game.
Also the punishments are really not as badly censored as I was led to believe. Then again, I never really cared about the punishments in the first place, but I still don't really see how the extra fog and removed voices makes a big difference.

On a scale from one to Onechanbara, how titty anime is it?laurenhiya21 wrote:Criminal Girls: Invite Only is what I started playing recently. Definitely no where near Onechanbara levelsElkinFencer10 wrote: On a scale from one to Onechanbara, how titty anime is it?
So far, outside of the punishment games there will only bit a little bit of cleavage. The punishment games have more butts in the air or legs placed in a way that exposes their panties. There is always some fog on the crotches and butts though so it makes it tamer a bit I guess? (it's so small that it doesn't really do much imo) So really this is more butt than titty so far... But then again there seems to be some busty characters that I haven't unlocked quite yet so that may change.
Uh, so yeah I'm really not sure how to rate it. I've never really thought about what the "titty anime" level of a game is before

Clearly you don't play enough of Elkin's backlog.
