THEE is coming out this month for the PS2 and I'm very inclined to pick it up. Is the original game for Dreamcast or 360 any good?
I've watched some videos and it seemed really cool, but I don't know, the gameplay might be crap. Thoughts?

I enjoyed the 360 version but it seemed to lack clever level-design in my opinions. Bullet patterns were quite good and the "hook"-mechanic is cool. You really need to grasp that mechanic to get something out of the game though. I say go for it if it's cheap.jfrost wrote:THEE is coming out this month for the PS2 and I'm very inclined to pick it up. Is the original game for Dreamcast or 360 any good?

I would say if you want a Original to buy the DC version and if you want to play it on the cheap buy on XBLA.

I lked the Dreamcat version slightly better than the 360 because the game seemed to move a slight bit faster. The difference is only slight though and I had a lof of fun playing the 360 version. The game overall is good, I wouldn't pay a high sum of money for it unless you're a collecter.

I don't suppose there is any chance of the game coming to America, is there? I don't live in the U.S., but it would make it much easier for me to buy a legit version.
Anyway, I might pick a pirate. If the game is good, I might get the original after a while, when the price tag is not so steep.

shmups dont usually make it to the states and usually are small print runs in japan anyway hence why they maintain their price pretty well.
XBLA version is really inexpensive but if you're outside the us, you'll probably have to ebay a dreamcast copy.

*sigh* Had to sell my DC version... I loved it!
Out on PS2? They're one step behind in EVERYTHING.

I dig the gameplay, but it always looked like ass to me. Does this version have enhanced graphics?

That limited edition price is steep! I'm tempted to buy it just to hold onto it for awhile. While I am sure others are doing this as well, they probably only made so many copies of it, all of which are already sold out on play-asia.

I played the trial on xbox and thought it was a fun game. Something I could get into, but at the time I didn't have points card nonsense.
Maybe I should buy it there? Or should I get a DC copy?
What's new or better or worse in the PS2 version?
(Goes to gamefaqs to find out)
