I saw your Nomad mods videos. Amazing work. I'm wondering if you are still doing this? I've been interested in getting myself a Nomad but probably wouldn't bother if I can't get the mods done.

It was $50 and the 3.5" on eBay are $20.
I would guess the one sold on DealExtreme is the newer version and has the same problems now.
Do all these kinds of screens only accept composite video? If a screen accepts Svideo or RGB signals, and such a mod could fit inside the Nomad case, that might help with image quality issues.
I've got someone who could do this for me, I just need to provide the parts. My only real question is with regards to the power adapter. I don't have a retro duo lying around and it doesn't seem I could get one for cheap. So my question is could I instead use a model 2 Genesis that still gets power going to it despite having only video and/or audio problems which would only cost half as much as a retro duo or fully working Genesis model 2? If so, how would that be done? Would I still be able to use my extra model 2 Genesis power cable without needing the Sony camera battery power adapter or will I still need to connect the end of that to the Sony camera power adapter much like you did with the cable for the retro duo power cable?
