I just saw today that Ori and the Blind Forest is getting a physical release. It also includes a soundtrack CD (which is very good btw). If you have Amazon Prime, the preorder price is $15.99 which isn't too bad.

So what's up with xbox one game updates? Ill go to play and get prompted for a 8gb+ dl. That's fine but I check the game file size after the download and it's not any bigger. What happened to that 8gb?

It's a diff patch. The changes are applied to the existing files and then the update diff is discarded. If it doesn't substantially add new data then you won't notice a size change.
