You know, I don't really binge watch shows, But I have been unable to stop myself from watching more and more of Steven Universe. Now I've seen every episode in a few days time, and I'm itching for more.

What a perfect cartoon. I haven't loved any cartoon this much since I watched Avatar the Last Airbender.

Try the new Voltron. The 2D animation is done by Studio Mir, which was created by the animation director on Avatar and did the animation for Korra.

started Daredevil. Seems good! Good casting, good fight scenes, etc. Only thing I noticed is it seems like the director told everybody to talk in a near whisper.

That (the whispering) gets better. The fight scenes stay very dark (lighting wise) throughout the series.

About halfway through the first season of SOA. I'm way behind on starting this, but I kept holding off getting into serious stuff on Netflix after Breaking Bad because I feared I'd go long periods without watching and forget what happens.

just finished second episode of Daredevil season 1... the fight scenes choreography is insane. The story really hits you in the feels. And Deborah Ann Woll is awesome. Great show.

I just finished the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary O.J.: Made in America. It's a nearly 8 hour long documentary(coming to 10 with commercial breaks) broken into 5 parts that covers O.J. Simpson's life(including his childhood, athletic career, acting career, marriages), the criminal trial, the civil trial, his life after the trial, and the eventual crimes that landed him in prison. It also takes a hard look at the city of Los Angeles, its history of police brutality and race, thus providing the necessary background to understanding why the trial evolved the way it did.

The interviews are wide and varied, including close friends, his agent, corporate sponsors, jurors, family of both Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, prosecutors and defense lawyers, a couple of biographers, civil rights leaders and activists, local preachers, LA cops, directors, and fan merchandise dealers.

It's excellent throughout, though also horribly depressing(still, not the most depressing I've ever seen. That goes to Capturing the Friedmans). I recommend it for anyone curious in even the slightest bit. It is marvelously handled.

That reminds me of the teaser trailers I saw a million times while watching season 2 of Fargo on FX.

Preacher is staying good. Episode 5 finally starts to pull the pieces together. Love how they've retooled the beginning of the story.
