Yes it's a ripped off emulator they licensed, but you get the legit ROM sets for over 20 MVS titles. They single boot as a windows install, no DRM required via Steam.
I got the entire package for the anniversary late last year for around $10 or so. With no sale it's 6 games for $15 (times 4 to get them all.)

Yeah all I own is a iPhone and a tablet. I can't do that
Not entirely, but more tricky. The ROM sets in those carts are stock emulators use. If you had access to decompress the installers, pull the zip file from each, throw it on a tablet, and fire up Neo.EMU you'd be in business and in a better environment than the crap dotemu licensed.
The KOF that is on android/ios sucks. But there are a couple good Metal Slug games, Blazing Star, and on June 30th Neo Turf Masters comes out.

That game is fucking sexual. YOUR SKILL IS GREAT. It might be my favorite game to play on my MVS.

I'm sure they've heard of Windjammers, but that came out 22 years ago.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Y'know... it was in the 4slot I bought when I got my big red, but I haven't really given it a good try (because I am terribad at shmups) but this might make me try it out
Blazing Star isn't terribly hard as far as some go on the system, go for it. The game is a pleasure.
You know I'm wondering if mjmjr here needs to update that pricing guide of his. Not entirely sure of the collaborative source of the price but I keep trying to follow it and I'll lose on ebay auctions left and right. I know there are some true morons on there and other fools who just have more money and don't care about eating an added $20-50+ but I do. Not much pops up on the neo-geo forums either. In the last week I've lost out lightly on Cyberlip earlier today trying to keep in those margins here, and the other day Magician Lord went for a good $150 I believe when I think the guide says $110 for a pretty one.
I'm wondering if I just feed into the beast which is revolting and go for it as the guide is off, or do I need to switch gears and look somewhere I haven't thought of as I've got some titles not on that 161in1 I want to own (NAM, Magician Lord, and Cyber Lip as three top examples) among others and a few on it I just like too much not to own (like Neo Turf Masters.)
Yeah - for sure. Low mid-range titles like KoF 97 or something - you can get that on ebay for the same price as the forums.
Stuff like Cyber Lip and Magician Lord you are going to pay more on ebay. Both sales are going to be factored into the average.
I see you're on Neo now - don't rush to the market, but after your settled and established, wade in. Magician Lord was $85-90 the last few times it was put up - this is in the past 3 months.
There are guys on ebay who literally buy from the JP shops and put them on ebay - mark it up 15% for fees and 20% for profit. The sad part being - you can buy from those same shops...and save the 35%. Too many people just don't know - so Akiba, yffhyjij, and Arcade-Tower buy Money Idol Exchanger from G-Front for $190 and sell it on ebay for $350.
Buying neo is all about figuring things out and asking around.
