Yeah man, I lucked out. The system, Tetris, and Pokemon are all CIB too.
Thanks for the suggestions! Those all seem pretty wild to be on a Game Boy.
Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
Re: Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
Super lucky especially the free part, but even as a decently priced paid pick up that would have been great still.
Even if you haven't the time, money or interest to bother with much, try out Warlocked. It lasts quite awhile, especially playing both campaigns. It seems odd at first but it's surprisingly well made, even stuck using just B and A it's oddly not clunky or annoying corralling up a posse of warriors to go and beat down the opposing army even in the heat of battle.

Yes. They are all good. The touch controls are great for games that used paddles.marlowe221 wrote:I would like to know the answer to this too. Handheld Atari games is a personal daydream of mine...ExedExes wrote:

If you want a truly amazing experience, however, pick up the Intellivision Lives! collection for the Nintendo DS. Using the touchpad for the "keypad" is great.

Anyone bring up the Konami one yet I forget, hell for all I know I might have months ago. There's a very strong selection of the original arcade ROMS booted with a decent menu for the DS. It has the well knowns like Contra and Gradius, well known Japanese stuff like Twinbee and Pooyan and quite a few others and even obscure as it's a big list. You have dipswitch access to all the games too.

It is also very solid, and it even has turbo button options for Track & Field! (Those turbo buttons, BTW, are critical for getting through most of the game so that you can practice the high jump event...where you have to shatter the world record to qualify for the event and beat the game.)Tanooki wrote:Anyone bring up the Konami one yet I forget, hell for all I know I might have months ago. Got that a few weeks ago. The keypad is a far better fit for the DS, unlike the console versions that map it rather sloppy to the controller buttons/make it appear on screen right over the game.prfsnl_gmr wrote:If you want a truly amazing experience, however, pick up the Intellivision Lives! collection for the Nintendo DS. I made a mention of it in the past page or two, it looks great except loose it's going for $25 and up.Tanooki wrote:Anyone bring up the Konami one yet I forget, hell for all I know I might have months ago. Blah $25?! That's rough as it was $30 when it came out being an arcade compilation. I may keep an eye out for it, purist fun with Gradius, Contra and Twinbee but I don't by far need it or desperately want it either.
Re: Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
It looks far better than the GBA collection, and fixes the glaring omission of not saving high scores to cartridge, for one thing.
Looking at completed prices, it can be had for under $20 if you're fortunate enough on eBay. But still around $25 for card only for the most part.

Anyone know anything about Infinte Space for the DS? It seems to be on the pricey side... Is it worth it?
