man, hard times make you get rid of lunar or what happened? MinT ? that's hard core.
i was worried my system would not work either - especially after my dumb ass dropped it on the side walk when i got home :x
i love it.. now i can retire my old sega cd genesis system ... its had a hell of a run... and if i have an extra 4 or so aa batteris to kill i could use it as a big ass cd player. yeah, id be all bad ass. 8)

now i want a f>u*%^g Nomad.

on a side note - the coolest thing about pawn shops is that they usally dont know the worth of what they have. its a little sleazy but what the hell.

well this was before the WWW. so there was no ebay or speciality shops. i didnt know this game would be worth some value. thus, i couldnt play the game and didnt want to shell out $50+ for a segacd system, i got rid of both. at the time, the main pawn shop i went to had knowledge. he was this cool 50yr old dude. he knew the value of videogames, he would always carry a current price list from funcoland and would compare prices from that. he had a lot of junk. even the J.V.C. Wondermega/X'Eye systems. i always wanted one of those. the guy knew his stuff well :)
