Post by futuramaguy42 »

I just found this great platformer game on kongregate. It has a great retro feel to it. http://www.kongregate.com/games/TerryCa ... -look-back

Finished it, but died a shitload of times. It was really fun, and I liked the last half, when you can't look back.

That was pretty cool. How long did it take you guys to do? Took me 20 minutes.

About the same. I wish the game had a timer or a death counter.

Yea it took me about 20-25 minutes, nice find. Funny how a simple game like that can be so satisfying.

Hot diggity damn! One of the best games (not to mention FLASH-based) I've played in some time. I'll admit that, so far, I can't get past the three materializing platforms with the cliff--how do I make that jump? Nevertheless, definitely something I'm going to highlight on my website (as soon as I resolve current technical difficulties).
I run the 8/16-bit retro site TimeWarpGamer and if you want to follow the latest updates, check me out on Twitter.

Are you talking about the part where there's a bunch of bats coming at you? If so, you have to wait a little, shoot the bats coming from the right and jump on the platforms as soon as they appear (and keep shooting the bats and moving forward).

I didn't shoot any bats at that point. I just jumped like a motherfucker cause they keep spawning.
