Whats the most you have ever paid for a game?

I think I paid 5000 or 6000 yen for Dracula X on the PC Engine Super CD at a little game store in a train station in Japan in summer of '95.

$90 for a copy of Nintendo World Championships (gold cartridge) from a yard sale. I was mad because I got ripped off.




I'm just kidding. The most I've spent is probably (retro gaming) $10 for gold ocarina of time.

The most I have spent on a game (not including new games for new systems) is 30 bucks for Conkers Bad Fur day and 30 bucks for Super Mario All Stars + World.

I buy alot of video games but I can never bring myself to drop big money on any of them, but about a year after ff7 came out I dropped $45 on a used copy, other than that I barely ever top 20 bucks a game, I spend a lot of time lurking the internet for deals though.

I think $80 for the 1st Guitar Hero game on the PS2. Maybe another few were some of the $60 new releases that populate the current generation. Nothing collectible for a premium, though I have considered it on occasion.

I hardly buy anything at release or full price anymore. Left 4 Dead I actually pre-ordered for the early access, but that has been the only one recently and there was a discount involved .

I think I paid about 170 dollars for the full kit of Rock Band. It was one of the stupidest things I've ever did. I mean, the game is fun, but is too damn expensive to have all the accessories. I could've picked up tons of incredible and cheap games with the money.

The worst part: I brought the stuff to Brazil, played for a few weeks and then the drums' pedal stopped working. It didn't break in half, it just stopped functioning. It's been some months since then and I still haven't figured out how to get it back to work. And I can't send it back to be replaced because EA doesn't ship abroad.

I haven't broke the 300 dollar barrier yet but I just shelled out 230 on SF4 with the TE stick and have bought consoles before for one game (only to buy more later of course) I believe an individual game would be rock band, panzer dragoon saga etc

as i just not moments ago took the plunge and bought a mint condition complete panzer dragoon saga from ebay for 250 this is the most expensive game to date that i have bought. my previous ones were tied at 100, earthbound and magic knight rayearth for the saturn, so i ask whats yours.
