Who's gotta fatboy PS2 with vertical stand? I DO! :p

Post by omer »

My fat boy PS2 looks so awesome just standing high and mighty!

Current game in picture - Radiant Silvergun...Looks amazing. Sega Saturn S-Video
Image
32'' SONY LCD 720P HDTV

consoles in the picture: (from top left to bottom right)

SNES (Model2)
PS2 (RGB is the only way to go for a PS2 on an HDTV)
N64 (with expansion pack...By the way N64 S-video looks like shit on an HDTV)
Sega Genesis
Xbox360 Elite
PS1 (S-video looks way better than regular component on an HDTV)
Sega Saturn (Model2, mod-chip. Again, S-video for sure but RGB SCART is better)

Oh and if are wondering why I have a PS1 and PS2 both hooked up is because PS1 games show up as a black screen on the PS2 when using RGB component cables.

Douchbag PS2, standing up and all. Thinks it's so tough.

Besides looking cool and saving some space, is there any benefit to the stand? I always worried that the disc would be too loose in the sytem and skip when it was standing, since it just rests on the try normally.

I know it doesn't skip at all, but I have always been paranoid about the systems falling over so I keep them horizontal. Only the Wii sits in it's stand on it's side and where that's at doesn't bother me.

From me and a couple of friends experiences:
Keep your PS2 in the same position as it's always been in. If you had your PS2 standing vertical, then keep it that way! Same goes for keeping it horizontal. Never change the position again - - - the bearings in the CD/DVD player overtime adjust to the position your PS2 is in.

Someone correct me if im wrong

Man, I have been trying to locate just the right TV get, and not only do ibelieve I have found it, but I also think I found the entertainment center to house it in as well, although I think it would be much safer to get the 360 out of the inside and stand it on the top someplace, let that beast get as much air as possible....otherwise the 3 Red Rings will be visiting that cool setup.

Also being Racketboy and all, were's the Dreamcast! lol
