And if you decide you dont like it, I will buy the terrain off of you. Heroscape Terrain is my jam. I use it for RPG's and other games if I get the chance to. Nothing quite like it. Eventually mine will look like this:

For now it looks like this:

that is awesome. I'm gonna keep this in the back of my mind. It looks like you can get used sets for fairly reasonable prices. It says 2+ players... how well does the game play with just 2? That would probably be how I'd most often get to play it.

Heroscape plays best in two player, or in teams. Playing with more it gets to be a bit of a slog. The best part is, fans have converted countless clix models over to the game:

I got into Heroscape around (Wave 4), but did not get into customs until way later. I got to ride some of the heyday, and alot of the death. My local community never grabbed it, so I mostly played with friends who only wanted to play legit figures... I am riding AOTP as best I can (two of both sets so far). And this weekend (after I fix the florescent light on my kitchen table), I will be setting up a big board for a "campaign."

But if you want to get into wargaming, there is always the crazies:

That is one of Harold Rangers games, he does everything in 54mm (typically Britains figures). No joke: 6,000 figures.

Well I went game shopping today hoping to find some Genesis, snes or ps1 game I'm wanting. Didn't find anything I wanted but I did find a store selling some board games and decided I wouldn't go home empty handed.

So I picked up Betrayal at House on the Hill, my group has expressed interest in getting together again. I'm hoping a new game will reinvigorate them.

Betrayal is good stuff. Word of advice, the little plastic bits that track your character stats are terrible, BUT there's some excellent free apps that do it for you. Android one is better than the Apple one, but they're both better than using the physical pieces.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Good to know, I have android too so that works out even better. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
