Ack isn't suggesting a tank. He's suggesting a lightning bruiser.

I'm usually a glass cannon in basically every game ever. Skyrim is my only exception; then I'm just a regular cannon. Certainly no tank, though.MrPopo wrote:Ack isn't suggesting a tank. He's suggesting a lightning bruiser.

My Skyrim character dual wielded axes while clad in heavy armor. I ended up completely breaking the difficulty when I discovered I could get into an ebony mine because the guards only cared about the main entrance, not this side entrance I jumped through by exploiting the hilarious slope jump physics in Bethesda games. A bit of smithing later and I was overgeared for the rest of the game.

Re: RPG Progress Report
that's pretty brilliant. And the sort of anecdote that makes me want to play more Skyrim.MrPopo wrote:My Skyrim character dual wielded axes while clad in heavy armor. There's a location in Skyrim that you visit as part of the main quest and it is the coolest area in a video game ever. Like, I actually took the time to take some screenshots when I reached it (which is something I don't do).

Re: RPG Progress Report
I take lots of screenshots, but I understand what you mean. In most RPG's I tend to just stick to main quests. This is one of those games where I feel like I'm being tugged in every direction. "Hey what's that? I better go check it out!" kind of stuff.MrPopo wrote:There's a location in Skyrim that you visit as part of the main quest and it is the coolest area in a video game ever. This is like, Grade A quote material right here.noiseredux wrote:loaded up Skyrim. In the intro the cart got stuck on a horse. The horse stretched like something out of Goat Simulator. The cart in front of us rode up a tree. I assumed this wasn't part of the game. Restarted.
