marurun, while I agree with you that from a physiological standpoint the muscles are wrong, due to the influence of such people as Arnold Schwartzeneggar we have this notion that the strongest people are the bodybuilders. Which makes it really jarring to most people to see sumo or those world's strongest competitions.

My wins feel more accomplished when I beat someone wearing an alt costume. It's like ... I'm better than you and I paid less for this game, haha.

Yeah, and in fact the characters really have only one alt - the other 9 are just different colors (I think the only exception is Sakura, who has a gym costume besides her regular alt).

Why would you pay for costumes? Why do you even give a shit. It's not like it's completely game altering. If I play against somebody with a paid-for alt then I just think "You sad fucking bastard". I'd much rather have bought another game from XBLA or PSN instead.

I don't think i've ever intentionally unlocked alternate costumes in a fighting game ever. I just don't see the point. It's not like it changes the game at all.

I've never been a fan of charge characters because I've always had a problem executing the moves consistently on a pad, but a couple months ago I got a Hori EX stick and last night I decided to play some casual matches as Boxer with a friend. Kinda diggin him now, gonna start breakin him out more in casual matches. Might eventually use him as a second char, I think Sagat's topped Sakura for my fav to play as.
