Decided to give FF7 another playthrough like I do every 3 or 4 years. This time I'm giving the PC version a go. I found a guide to make everything look so much better I can barely believe it! Check out the screenshots.
Final Fantasy VII PC with incredible improvements!
Re: Final Fantasy VII PC with incredible improvements!
Um, pretty old news. The NPC reconstruction project was the only one that interested me, but they stopped working on it. It's kinda worthless as is, because there are still tons of NPCs that remain blocky and fat. They stand out too much at this point.

Too bad it doesn't look like any of those patches and mods fix what's actually wrong with the game.

i dont care what the other guys have said, that looks awesome! i dont think i would brave myself into trying to get all of those patches working but its still really cool none the less.

Yeah, I tried to apply some patches in Doomsday once and got a headache. It's pretty cool, I wish I could do stuff like that, but if I ever play FF7 again it'll be on a PS1 any way.

I would try this, but FFVII doesn't work in Windows Vista, or in Linux with the Wine emulator.

I have a friend who's playing it in Vista right now.lisalover1 wrote:I would try this, but FFVII doesn't work in Windows Vista, or in Linux with the Wine emulator.
