well I guess they have hinted at 'big things' happening between now and March - March being a 20th anniversary. We already know about Umbrella Corps and the RE2 remake, so there's rumors that RE7 will happen in that time frame. I wouldn't rule it out exactly. It's been a while since 6.

I think they'll announce RE7 this year, but I doubt it will launch until March. MAYBE October for Halloween, but I think that's pushing it. Then again, I could be completely wrong.

Mash up fighters are my favorite, I like the oddness of it. Currently tho Nitroplus Blasterz is my favorite.

Back on topic I can't wait to get RE 4&5 HD so I can never rebuy a remake RE game ever again. I love the PS4 so I can stop there wit it.

out of curiosity, has anyone seen any of the animated (CGI?) RE movies? Are they any good? I may look into them after I finish my run of the main film series w/ my wife.

I've got the first one on DVD (Degeneration, I think), and I really enjoyed it. It felt like a really fucking long cut scene. I haven't seen the others, though, so I can't judge them. From what I've seen online, though, my positive opinion of it seems to be a minority view.

in fairness, it seems like enjoying most things attached to the name "Resident Evil" puts us in the minority.

Degeneration is great I've watched it a few times. Resident Evil: Damnation on the other hand is pure crap as far as the characters and story goes the effects are good and Ada Wong has some cool scenes but other then that it's a mess.

Also while googling to find the name of Damnation I stumbled upon the IMDB for the 6th and hopefully FINAL live action movie called "The Final Chapter". Honestly I liked the First 3 movies but the last two were just really crappy 4 really pushed for 3D and the last tried to pull a little to much fan service by just throwing in a crap ton of characters from the games.
