Thanks Sarge, I loved how in those days each character had an identifying musical theme very much so for Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI. I still whistle and hum them subconsciously.

I love Zelda as well, the SNES version is my favorite!

I really enjoyed quasi sequel with 'A Link between worlds'. Just seeing the same over world was awesome! It was a blast from the past that gave shivers

Like I mentioned before Final Fantasy VI was my first game and I loved every moment of it. Ultros was the ultimate antagonist, I loved how he would always resurface in the story. And of course his buddy Chupon. Sabin was my favorite character. I actually played this 2-player with my cousin every time we went to my grandparents oddly enough his favorite was Edgar.

I didn't see where you posted when you joined up, 'cause I'm lazy. Congrats on having an appreciation for the older stuff!

Seriously, I still try to sell my friends on Chrono Trigger and some of the other classics. I know friends whose first Zelda game was Ocarina, and they've not played anything before that; that thought is absolutely terrifying.
