I've got another small lot of UK Master System games on the way! For some games it is much much cheaper than eBay. I wish I could do the same with Brazilian Master System games. Some quick googling seems to indicate that shipping is pretty crazy both in and out of the country.

So quick Master System question - are there any games that were ONLY released for Master System on the cards and not on cartridges? I know just about nothing about the card games since I've never actually seen one in the wild.

Good question. From what I know certain games that were released as cards in the US had cart releases in Europe. Dunno if any are just on cards.

If we look at ONLY the North American Market, I can think of an example of a Sega Card game that is not available in any other format: Teddy Boy Blues.

The Sega Card version of Great Soccer is a different game from the cartridge version. That's true, but you'd need to REALLY love playing sports game to want to play Great Soccer.

There's also a pair of games called "Great Baseball" with the same story. The Sega Card game is different from the cartridge game of the same name, but neither of them are any good.

Woody Pop is actually available in North America as a Game Gear cartridge. This is a legitimately fun breakout clone. It's good in short spurts.

At my job, there is a sign on the main door with the word "labeled" misspelled as "labled". I pointed this out to my boss forever ago. He didn't care, and no one else who works there cares. But that fucking sign and its fucking misspelled word piss me off every single time I see it.
