Yup, they said that too. It's actually quite surprising that it was in production for that long.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:I did some more research and to my sad results apparently Ecto-Cooler (AKA: Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen) has ceased production as of 2007.Dylan wrote:Whoa, this is weird. Yeah, but is was one of the best flavors of Hi-C and had the awesome staying power given to it by 80's movie and early 90's cartoon fans.Dylan wrote:Yup, they said that too. This reminds me of this one time, I bought grape pop-tarts at the supermarket. I opened it and found some game called Panzer Dragoon Saga inside. It wasn't a grape pop-tart, so I threw it away.

Finally!! Orange poptarts. Yes, they're technically orange soda flavored, so it'll taste like artificially artificial orange instead of just artificial orange. But whatevs.

Sorry for quoting posts that are over six years old(!) but since we were necro-ing the bejeebus out of this thread anyway, this tidbit really caught my eye. Fans of the neon green Hi-C ambrosia can now rejoice since they're bringing it back to promote the new Ghostbusters reboot.Dylan wrote:Yeah, but is was one of the best flavors of Hi-C and had the awesome staying power given to it by 80's movie and early 90's cartoon fans.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:I did some more research and to my sad results apparently Ecto-Cooler (AKA: Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen) has ceased production as of 2007.Dylan wrote:Whoa, this is weird. Apparently there are also special edition cans that change color when they're cold ...
Look, I don't even care; all I know is that I'm going to pretend it's 1987 and drink as much of the stuff as I can until it inevitably gives me kidney stones or something."The cans are specially printed using thermal ink that turns an eerie shade of slime green when the product inside is cold," the company said.
Will this be the best thing to come out of the Ghostbusters reboot? Probably!

Behold, the story of the great Pop-Tarts War of 2010, where thousands of Racketboy members lay waste and put entire threads to the torch over the greatest philosophical debate of our time: peanut butter on grape Pop-Tarts! Come children, learn the history of your people.

Turns out the whole thing was a straw man. The answer was and always will be S'mores (sans peanut butter naturally).Ack wrote:Behold, the story of the great Pop-Tarts War of 2010, where thousands of Racketboy members lay waste and put entire threads to the torch over the greatest philosophical debate of our time: peanut butter on grape Pop-Tarts!
Edit:
I see I'm in good company here! I salute you on your excellent taste my good man.Ack wrote:Is this a good time to admit that the Smores flavor was my favorite brand of Pop Tart?
