Finally, proof that the N64 controller was built for alien hands. I've been saying this for twenty years. Vindication.

Isn't there a way to disable it without have to download/install anything? I remember reading about it in a Microsoft FAQ back before I decided if I was gonna upgrade or not, but I can't remember now.Exhuminator wrote:Just use GWX control panel to get rid of it:Fragems wrote:Can't wait for the "free" upgrade window to close.

I don't know if there is or not. But that program I recommended is safe. I wouldn't link something dubious to my bros and hos.Ziggy587 wrote:Isn't there a way to disable it without have to download/install anything? Yeah it's not worth the hassle Ziggy / Fragems . Having to dig into some nasty areas on the PC where you may have no idea what you're doing... (speaking for myself), messing with the registry, etc, only to see that W10 stuff appear again. I've been very adamant about keeping this machine on Win7 and it was a major cluster fudge when I was looking into how to get rid of this crap, and almost everyone reported it would eventually find its way back in.Exhuminator wrote:I don't know if there is or not. But yeah, I discovered GWX and haven't had any issues since. What really irked me is how W10 files were taking up about 10gigs on my SSD. Just random install files parked there. wtf? GWX gets rid of this and more.
Choice or not on upgrading, I bet you have gigs of files just sitting there.

I suspect that I'm not the only person to whom this applies.
