Yes. Recently did this with Fear Effect 2. I legit got stuck about 10 minutes into the game against three robots and the awful control scheme was destroying me. I love the visuals of these games though and the atmosphere, so I wanted to see more. Just watched a full playthrough since it wasn't too long. I've done this on a few other occasions and have some other ideas of some games I can't see myself playing, but if there's a good run or host of a playthrough maybe I'd get into it. Fatal Frame 3-4 are other options I've thought about. 4 since, well, we didn't get it in the USA. And 3 I played a bit of but really wasn't feeling it because of the pacing. But I'm curious enough to see where it goes, I just don't want to scratch my head every 30 minutes wondering what the heck I do next to progress.
I was also watching a run of Siren and well, got pretty bored after a handful of videos and ended up being pretty thankful I didn't waste my money on buying a copy.
