What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

we took a chance on this movie we had never heard of on Netflix. Turned out to be a good pick! It's a horror movie... Ugh, I'm having trouble typing things without spoiling anything or making it sound boring. It is a bit of a slow burn, but it really does work...

Michi & Jordy should def watch it so it can be talked about in more detail.

A day late, but toss my name into the pile too in favor of Ravenous. I really enjoyed it and appreciate its effectiveness. I wish we had more weird westerns like this.

@noise, is that the gal from Game of Thrones? The wildling girl?

I watched Creed yesterday and it was a good movie! It was a nice change of pace from a lot of normal adult-oriented entertainment in that it was a coming of age movie with just a good moral. No sex, minor amounts of swearing, and not ultraviolent. Really enjoyed it. I've never seen a Rocky movie, so I'm not sure how it compares to those, but as a standalone film it succeeds!

Well, I finally get to talk about what all I've been working on, since we officially announced it today:

very cool. Although for me will depend on pricing. Between Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, access to digital rentals thru my cable provider and a fairly impressive DVD collection, it's hard for me to justify another subscription. The sad reality is that on average I probably only watch two movies a week as it is.

Good Luck, Ack. The streaming video market is competitive, but there's still lots of growth potential - especially in international markets.

I don't get it.

I mean sure I'd say that Netflix is streaming video's Steam, but you can't suggest that Hulu and Amazon Prime aren't lucrative?

The Critereon stuff is nice of course. Personally, I'm wondering if we'll see full episodes of RZ hosting TCM Underground. That would actually make me very interested in the service since to my knowledge they weren't released on DVD.
