Looking at what's available for Prime members, it currently lists 69 options. Of those 69 I count:

25 Dubs
21 Subs
16 Shows that should probably be in a separate category (much as I love Thundercats and Avatar/Korra)

Kabaneri is surprisingly not listed in the anime category, so I'll add it myself, bringing the total count to 70.

Netflix clearly wins when it comes to giving you options between which version you would prefer to watch (if there is one), but unless I miscounted, it looks to me that the Dubs and Subs are actually pretty evenly balanced. So, yeah, Prime doesn't give you the same control as Netflix, but it's not bereft of options either. Plus, more recent dubs are no longer the horrid stigma they once were in decades past, so on that front I'm not bothered as much by them as I once was.

I've started to get addicted to JoJo's Bizarre adventure as of late. I watched a few episodes of the latest iteration and a few of the 2012 anime. I think I will continue watching the 2012 series. Overall, this seems to be a great anime series, and I'm not exactly sure why I never payed attention to it. Also +1000 for having "roundabout" by YES as the ending song  (Best band ever imo)

I'm also watching Ace Attorney. I've been hooked since ep 2 and can't wait for more! Let's just say a lot of stuff goes down in this ep. Now if only they would make a dub...

JoJo's alright. It's kind of an ambiguously gay seinen-ized Dragon Ball Z. Or at least, that's how I felt about it after watching the first season. I agree the unusual ending theme is fantastic and fits the ending montage perfectly.

Speaking of good anime music... I've been watching Legend Of Black Heaven lately. It's got a great opening:

"alright"!? It's the best thing to happen to anime in a decade!

Sounds like you haven't seen Stardust Crusaders, where the series really hits it stride with the Stands that set it apart from everything. Culturally JoJo has influenced so much in Japan it's insane. I remember laughing when I found some weapons in some Castlevania replays that were direct references to the series. It has been around since the 80's, so that's why it's a hilarious fire hydrant explosion of testosterone in your face.
This adaptation has been extremely faithful and amazing.

The current season so far is fantastic. The art style change is pretty dramatic though, no more Hokuto no Ken muscles.

I saw Season 1, which included:

Part 1: Phantom Blood
Part 2: Battle Tendency

All together it was like 26 episodes IIRC. Now this was a few years ago, but I remember not being as impressed with it as everyone else seemed to be. That said, if you say the second season is awesome, I will give it another shot. I went ahead and got all the Patlabor OVAs on your advice. Working on getting the TV series too.

What in particular did you not like about them?

A lot of fans still like Joseph as the best Joester, he did ooze a lot of personality. I'm a big fan of Jotaro from Stardust Crusaders too though, but he is admittedly straight up Kenshiro. Insanely serious and stoic, but good hearted, like he's never tempted by women or anything. What's really humorous is to consider that some of these characters in part 3 are in high school, when they look 30 something.

The animation in particular was HUGELY improved compared to what you saw, so the action and battles in SC are wayyyyyy better. You could tell they were running on a low budget for the fist season. "David Production" haha, but hardcore fans of the manga claim these guys are knocking it out of the park and have been very faithful to the original material, which is always cool to hear.

(and apparently this scene is pages in the manga, so it's hilariously accurate haha. Dead?)

Joseph is still a main character and just as awesome and hilarious as ever, even in old age. The time leaps this series builds upon is really cool to me. But yeah unlike the first two parts which were basically one man shows with the JoJo's, SC has an awesome group of four characters. So that was also kind of different and cooler to me.

It can be pretty episodic though, which is hit or miss. But phew the payoff is pretty insane when they get to Dio near the end. Not a huge spoiler since it's apparent from the start, but yeah the whole ordeal is going against Dio again.

It's a pretty different flavor is what I'm getting at. If you did enjoy the first two parts at least a little or are curious about more, it's worth checking out. Way more standout characters, much better action, and insanely weird creative ideas with some of the "Stands".

I hear part 4 going on right now is more comedic, has bigger story arcs, and one crazy serial killer main villain that's supposed to be really good.

It seemed to be a show about rock star studs trying to out badass each other, first by talking a lot of bravado, and then finally pounding each other's faces in. I find that formula very reminiscent of Dragon Ball Z, albeit not quite as drawn out as DBZ battles are. The only other real plot point was the masks that corrupted their wearers. So in the 26 episodes I saw, there just wasn't much pay off plot-wise for my time investment. I guess I just expected a deeper and more interesting story than what I got.

I will however, give Stardust Crusaders a shot. You're not the first person that's told me that's where the show (and the manga) really got good.

Was craving a little more Gundam after Iron Blooded Orphans so I'm watching Gundam 00 as well as the revamped Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn as it airs. Really liking 00 so far although the Gundams are definitely OP as hell compared to most other Gundam shows though. Unicorn is also pretty good but having not watched much of the previous Gundam material it's a little complicated it stands up fine by itself though.

Have you at least watched the original Gundam? Unicorn has amazing and fitting homages and references to the original series and feels like the omega grand conclusion of the entire Universal Century timeline. The last episode is 90 minutes so it's basically a movie and man is it beyond epic, and even moreso if you get the direct allusions to the original series.

Gundam 00's first season was great, and the second is completely terrible. Get ready for a trainwreck.

For me Gundam quality ranges from...

Amazing/Favorites <<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>> Worst shows I've ever seen

An extremely contrasting franchise to me with no middle ground.
