$14.94 with the exchange rate from the Netherlands which is quite decent.

I was told before some time that was pretty much on par for the SMS game with minor changes -- so I looked it up, quoting hardcoregaming101.net on this.

"In Japan, Sega released the game in 1992 for the Game Gear under the name Monster World II: Dragon no Wana. It's mostly the same as the Master System version, through since the view is zoomed in to make up for the smaller resolution, many of the areas have been slightly redesigned, and some of the larger rooms have simply been removed. You can also transport back to the hub town by using charm stones. In general the game is slightly easier too. There's also a new, much cooler, title screen and a new song to go with it."

I'll probably have it in another week or something, probably about the time my GG is out for upgrades.

Another GG lot I picked up today on ebay averaging around a little over $6 a game too which isn't bad so I can't wait to get it as it's a mix of things I had before and new. Dragon Crystal, Crystal Warriors, Junction, Ninja Gaiden, Devilish, and Shinobi II. Tomorrow Adventures of Batman & Robin should be here. It's crazy how little almost all these GG games can be picked up for which is great. Wonderboy (Drancon) may show up too, guy never supplied tracking but shipped it. I do want Mega Man so that'll suck.

How much did that run you, if you don't mind me asking?

EDIT: Oh, that was the GG version, wasn't it? Just looked at your spreadsheet. How does that stack up to the SMS version?
The SMS version isn't too pricy if you were wanting to import it. I've seen it go for £10 or so frequently.

The price has gone up as people caught on that Wonder Boy is awesome though. I got my copy on eBat about 8 years ago for 5p

I was really hoping that DOA5 Last Round was an indication that X3 was going to make it to PC. :?

Maybe, but even if it did they may not have released it here. Were there a PC port though, I imagine it'd be easier to make available than getting localization/etc done for console versions.

Well, it's not a game, but I just bought a PSTV bundle (the one with a DualShock 3 and 8GB memory card) for $30 at Walmart. Figure I'll hack around a bit with it. Looks like it might be a lot of hoop-jumping to copy my save data over without syncing up the firmware, though, especially since Vita Update Blocker doesn't seem to be working. Maybe I can do something through my PS3.

Yeah it's suprisingly cheap as well. It's been sub $10 new($7 currently) for a few years and the Collector's edition was hovering around $12 till recently as well. A lot of 360 shmups were like that for a long time. Deathsmiles has hopped up in price but Akai Katana is still around $12 new.
