This is a great thread, I haven't seen it until just now, but I've enjoyed going through it. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Maximum Racing series. There's nine games total, pretty much all crappy. Some are rarer then others, but many are rarer or as rare as anything mentioned in this thread.

I've just completed my set:

Keep your eye out for them, as many will be impossible to find in the future.

Those games are crazy rare, but I have seen Kart Racer and Truck Racer a few times in the wild. (It is a good thing that they are so bad and that I have no intention of adding any of them to my collection.)

Also, I decided that my Wii collection really wasn't complete without a copy of Fishing Resort. I was dismayed by its price, however. Thankfully, I was able to get a CIB copy for $35 the other day, which is pretty good considering what it goes for nowadays.

Also...nice to see back, NintendoTwizer.

I'm amazed by how many people here get excited about collecting games they know are bad just because of perceived rarity. Is that just to have a complete collection, or do they rise in price later, or is there some other reason?

I only buy games I intend to play - although admit that some are bad games I'm just curious to try first-hand.

I wanted that version so badly when buying a few years back, but it was almost impossible to find in Canada and prohibitively expensive (for me) to import.

Still a good game, although I wish I had the rod attachment.

I can just speak for myself here, but for me I'm going for a complete Wii set. I'm fascinated with seeing what a complete library for a system looks like up on a wall. I'm interested in all the games good or bad. Some of the bad games can tell an interesting story, like who made this, why, is it part of a series, is the publisher still around, how many were produced, is it so bad it's good? I just like seeing everything a system has to offer I guess. Of course going for a complete Wii set is crazy, so I'm sure I'm just crazy. :)

I'm almost done with my collecting for the Wii. I have all the Nintendo selects now and all I'm gunning for is gunblade and a few other shooters like resident evil and house of the dead. Also looking for kof and samurai shodown and I'm happy

No. I just got the game. (I don't have space for the other stuff!)

Wow the price really hoped up on that one :P. CIB has doubled in price over the last 6 months according to vgpc. Thought it was going for $20 new not to long ago.

Got lucky and nabbed me a CIB copy for $5 at one of the local pawns a while back :).

I bought a couple of the fishing resort when gamestop made all the new ones used.

I also have gunslingers with 2 revolvers NIB and I've seen very few of those around
