I'm terrible at F-Zero GX but it's probably my favorite racing game of all time. It's the perfect marriage of Nintendo's design and Sega's action. It's one of the most simultaneously accessible and hardcore games.

On Wii sports, in a way it can be looked back on as sort of a fad but it was also kind of a revelation. People in my family who never touch video games were suddenly up and playing Wii Sports because it was easy to understand and fun. It didn't last but for a while there wasn't a get together that didn't involve a few rounds of bowling.

When F-Zero GX first came out, I got really good at it. I literally played it non-stop and completed all the Arcade cups and beat a good chunk of the story missions. I unlocked nearly everything.

Long story short. I sold my Gamecube and games back in 2005 or 2006. I rebought my GameCube and games back in 2010 and I've sucked at F-Zero GX ever since (same applies to a lot of games to be fair, like TimeSplitters 2, which I 100%ed back in the day).
