Best/most reliable app for tracking collections

Post by Snatch1414 »

I can't seem to find a particularly good mobile app to keep track of your collection. I want something with a good database that also allows you to specify cart only, CB, CIB, etc. Nice presentation would be good too, but not essential. Anyone have one they use and prefer? I don't mind paying a few bucks either if it's good. Thanks! (on iOS fyi)

I know you said iOS, but I'm on android and I use VG Collection Tracker. It has a nice interface, large database and plenty of customization for your games. I don't know if this is on iOS however but it would be worth the look as its free for android.

I just gave that a download to try since you recommended it.

Awesome. I hope you like it, it's always getting updates to improve things too, so don't hesitate to tell the devs what you'd like to see in it.

Damn, not on iOS. Thanks though. If anyone has an iOS app feel free to share!

I've used the website but found it kind of cumbersome honestly. I'm not really sure how much more intuitive it could've been, but maybe that's just when I realized a mobile app might be more what I'm after.

RFG works very well and their Android app is pretty good... but it's a weird mix of basic and crazy. I had to move to a spreadsheet for my NES stuff once I got serious about completing the collection, and I've started to do that more and more with my systems when I have down time.

Might try the VG Collection Tracker recommendation
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
